Our first set of knives have stainless steel handles. They look like they are better quality than the plastic handles. However, both sets of knives work equally well. The knife block included with the turquoise handled knives is very cheap looking. It takes away from the look of the set, and is not something I would display in my kitchen. ... show more

the knives arrived a week late, they looked like they were made of plastic. All the knives were floating around in the overly large box as they were not packaged securely and came out of not only the cheaply made wooden holder, but the plastic box they were in fell apart causing the knives to knock around in the box.. seller has not responded to my request for return due to scratches on handles and weird dents in all the handles. ... show more

These knives were a big disappointment. The steel blades were discolored; the rivets holding the knife handles together were rough and sharp; the wood block was a joke--looked like a grade school wood class project--also rough.
