I am a late 80s early 90s baby or just old af as my son loves to say. I grew up on the release of these game changing toys and used to collect every one of them that I could get my hands on. So naturally when my son is old enough, I am trying to make connections to my childhood with him. Tech decks were an instant hit with him just like they were with me when I was a child. With this being such a connection between us I am always on the lookout for new boards and park setups. When I came across these I was instantly pulled in especially when I saw that it included some actual boards that I skated on when I was a kid. Unfortunately, on arrival there was instant issues because I told my son I was going to need to hang on to these ones lol. I love having small scale replicas of real boards I skated, and they have a permanent position on my desk particularly the blind board! This is an amazing kit to get your hands on and your child will definitely love them just be aware you may be hurting some feelings because you are going to want that nostalgia if you are anything like me lol. ... show more

The TECH DECK 25th anniversary set makes a great gift. The 8-pack contains a variety of deck styles with all the classic names you recognize. This set also includes two sticker sheets, a skate tool, and a special edition TECH DECK DUDE. We left our box intact to display as we have a skateboard-themed corner in our home. My one complaint is I would have preferred for the barcode sticker to be placed somewhere inconspicuous. ... show more
