!!!!!! WARNING: FORMALDEHYDE !!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!! I am writing this 1 month after I bought these. The look ok, and generally cheep built, but you get what you paid for and they do the job. I am not in the market yet for luxury furniture so I resorted to buying these in the meantime. The construction process was tedious but not hard (IKEA quality work) but my problem started about 2 weeks ago when I opened one of the stands and realized that it smelled like death. I first wrote it of to the hot weather, but after scrubbing through thoroughly , leaving a lavender pouch inside to absorb the smell and trying a variety of other smell busting methods, nothing works, and the smell is getting WORSE!! Its to a point that I had to take these out of my bedroom. My SO who has dealt with and been on site of commercial and industrial construction projects pointed out that it smells exactly like exposed formaldehyde!!! I tested it and he was right! WTH!! Its too late to return now because the box is long gone but this is NOT OK. ... show more

We bought this two weeks ago. Despite an hour of a build, we got it for our two year old. It was our mistake for not reading the reviews. We put one on each side of our toddler bed. We didn’t realize how bad it smelled when laying next to it, it was over powering. It smelled the second the box opened so while assembling we opened all the windows and figured it would be gone shortly. My son slept there for a night and the next afternoon, I lay down in his bed and almost suffocated from the deep chemical smell. I put it out into the living room for two weeks. It started overpowering the entire living room and we don’t have a small room. We literally threw them out completely. It’s a waste of Time and money and extremely dangerous . We couldn’t figure out why our throats were itching and constant sneezing well: “Formaldehyde is a sensitizing agent that can cause an immune system response upon initial exposure. It is also a cancer hazard. Acute exposure is highly irritating to the eyes, nose, and throat and can make anyone exposed cough and wheeze.” I am asthmatic and also began having asthma attacks. I’m not even going to try to return this and get a refund, I threw it out, i don’t want it in my home for another second. I hope you read this review. ... show more

Beautiful side tables! Exactly what I was looking for. These tables are sturdy solid. Very good product for the price. The assembly time called for 30 minutes but it actually took me about an hour to get both tables assembled. Well worth the effort.

These were SUPER EASY to put together. My bed is a little higher due to our thick mattress so I decided to buy these since they were taller than the ones I have. They are very sturdy and aren’t flimsy! For the price of two in a pack these are perfect and I highly recommend. My only hang up is that they are on the smaller side as far as surface area, but with the two drawers it helped and made me organize and de clutter, so it’s actually not too bad of a problem to have. Just need to find a smaller lamp so it doesn’t take up so much of the top. ... show more

I feel like I’m being pretty generous with 4 stars, but night stands are so insanely expensive. These aren’t. They aren’t terribly well made, but I was expecting that for the price. They do work, seem fairly study, and weren’t too hard to put together. The drawers pull out pretty smoothly. I took a picture of the page that needs fixing and wrote down what is wrong and how to fix it. They are pretty decent for their price, but not quite worth it. They were what I needed though. I needed nightstands that were fairly tall, had drawers, and had space enough to put a mini garbage can beneath. The drawers are a little difficult to pull in and out. ... show more

As everyone else said, you pay for what you get. BUT... these definitely are worth it. The only reason I rated it 4 stars and not 5 was because the directions weren’t the greatest, I had to change a way to put it together because the directions didn’t line up to where the holes were. I was able to figure it out and it really wasn’t a big deal. They say it takes 20 min to put together but I definitely had a lot of time into the first one because of the holes/screws causing issues. These were not hard to put together. Less hard than an IKEA dresser but harder than a Walmart bookshelf. You don’t need an engineering degree to figure it out. I got the grey and white and it does look like the photo on here except it looks like the tan one has just been painted grey but that’s kind of the color I was going for anyways. It looks “rustic grey” which is what I was going for. I gave 4 stars because I did have to hot glue one part. The screw holes are all predrilled on this and one of them (two technically… one for each end table) was drilled too deep for the screw that needed to go in. I took a picture. If you don’t have hot glue or anything similar then you will probably need it to put this together adequately for that one piece. It’s the plastic piece in the center that keeps the drawer from coming out. Overall, I bought these because of the price. I didn’t have $600 for freaking end tables. Nobody wants to pay that for end tables. And I wanted them to have drawers for storage so these fulfill both of my very simple requirements. And they look nicer than the $5 from Walmart I had before.
