    • This is a Great Machine!
I bought this a second machine to my high end sewing/ embroidery (new car valued) machine and I find that although it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, I enjoy sewing on it more than the other one! It's quiet and sturdy and very easy to use. There are some features I miss out of pure laziness but if this were the only machine I had, I wouldn't complain at all. My one issue is that the extension table doesn't lock into the machine so it's basically placed up against instead of attached. It hasn't moved on me or been a huge issue; just a small feature I wish it had. This is eventually going into a recessed sewing table so that extension won't be used anyway so it's not that big of a bother. Highly recommend. ... show more

All the details of the machine are online, so I will skip but I highly recommend watching the youtube videos. I upgraded from a $99 machine that I have had for 15 years. Sewing on the new machine was like going from a skateboard to the USS Enterprise. Here are some highlights- It threads the needle for you!!! It cuts the thread for you!! These two actions will save you so much time! It has a speed control and a great feed dog system, so you can almost let go of the fabric while sewing. Stitches are perfect and even. You can adjust the size of the stitch and position of the needle about 40 different ways. It knots the thread for you. It is very quiet and has a nice hum to it when running. You can sew without a foot pedal, I thought I would not use that feature but it is amazing! It has many different stitches and comes with packet of accessories. It will come with 3 needles, Amazon has great deals on Organ Needles and Janome Needles. My sewing went from good to professional with this machine. Best advice I got from my quilt buddies-- replace the needles often, and read the manual. This is one of the best machines out there, and the red white and blue is a beautiful touch especially if you are a QOV fan. ... show more

I got this machine for Christmas 2023. I do t think I have slowed down sewing since I got it!! I am a Janome kind of gal and I think their products are top notch! This machine did not disappoint!!! Easy to use and has beautiful stitches!

The machine works really good, was missing the 11 essentials packet, it took alot to get help, if the box is sealed sometimes you the seller can't know what is in side. It took time for them to reach out they finally have.

I've been absolutely thrilled with my new Janome sewing machine. It seems like the designers thought of everything a quilter could want. I love that it came with an extention table, and a foot that's exactly 1/4" for piecing. It sews very smoothly. Easy to learn. I like that a bobbin can be wound without un-threading the machine. My only complaint is that the space between the sewing plate and the bottom of the machine body is a bit short. I can barely get my hand in there to change the foot. Nice machine, but it wasn't new though it said it was. It was repackaged a nd sent to me. Too many things out of place and not "packaged" properly that screamed used. I think sellers should be penalized for false advertisement. It doesnt appear to be anything wrong with the machine but the price should have been discounted and sold as used or refurbished if that is what it is.
