Has a good adjustable head band. Plenty comfortable. Lens may be just a tad too dark when not welding. That's fine with me. Some folks may be used to a clear lens. I really like this hood. Looks good and feels good.

I thought for sure the negative reviews were just a couple unlucky people, or people who were overly critical. If only i would have heeded their warnings. I was pretty excited to use it when it arrived. As soon as I picked it up to try it on, I discovered the front had a crack in it near the chin. Very disappointing. I decided to put it on to see how it felt, so i would know whether to just get a replacement, or if a refund was going to be necessary. I immediately became aware of how thin and flimsy the plastic used to make the helmet was. It was obvious a replacement would probably arrive broken, or break relatively quickly. This thing should come with the word FRAGILE painted on the side. While trying the helmet on, I noticed a sharp pain on my head. I discovered the design makes it so your hair gets caught in the band and pulled out with the smallest of movements. This was incredibly surprising, since my hair is not even a half inch long!!! tis a sad day. I had great expectations since Jackson used to be a reputable brand.
