Whenever I read "lifetime warranty," I'm skeptical. But I have to say that J&B hoses live up to their name. I love the fact that these are super lightweight. So lightweight in fact, that I bought a 2nd one to keep in my car to bring to the cemetery each week to water all the flowers and grass. After having one for nearly three years, I began to get a small pinhole leak. I contacted J&B via email and in less than 2 hours I got a reply with notification that my new hose was being sent to me. Low and behold, just a few days later (less than a week), I received the new hose. I'm back to enjoying watering my garden again. It's nice to know that not only are the hoses quite durable, but they do in fact have a lifetime warranty - with no questions act. They didn't even ask for me to package up and send back the old hose. Just needed to send a quick picture showing the leak - that's it. When I first got this hose, I thought someone had made a mistake. I wanted 75 ft, and the hose did not look anywhere near long enough. It truly lives up to its expandability claim. Once I turned it on, it did indeed expand to 75 ft. The hose is extremely durable, which makes it a bit heavy, but I'd rather have that than the cheap hose I paid $40 for two months previous that sprang multiple leaks less than two months after purchase. I missed the warranty period on that by three weeks. This does have a lifetime warranty, and they do live up to it. When you turn the water off and expend the water in the hose, it does contract, which pulls back. But it does not tangle, and its a good product for the cost, which is expensive. My only concern was the instructions, which cost it one star. I'm not a big garden person, I just wanted to hook the hose up and use it. I did not know that you had to push down before you turned the on/off lever, and I thought the hose was broken because I couldn't move the lever, and it was in the off position, which meant the water was blocked. If this had been mentioned in the instructions, it would have saved me time taking photos, contacting the company, being frustrated that my $50 hose was not working when it was 100 degrees out, etc. There are no instructions included with the hose that outline what the different pieces you have received are, how to hook the hose together and connect it to the water source, that there are extra washers included, that you need to depress the on/off lever before you turn it, how to use the sprayer and the different settings, etc. The instructions just talk about how wonderful the hose is. In my e-mail correspondence with the company, I mentioned this, but I'm sure it fell on deaf ears. I will say the company is very responsive if you contact them, so that's a plus. I purchased this hose for my dad's birthday in 2020, and he LOVED it! He wanted to write a review but doesn't have an Amazon account and wanted me to submit it for him: I received my J&B XpandaHose and Nozzle on October 23, 2020. It was a birthday present from my daughter. It was so light and easy to handle, that I retired my old heavy bulky hose. After almost exactly three years my hose sprang a large leak. I knew my hose had a lifetime warranty so I contacted J&B with an email. I received a reply from John the same day saying my replacement hose would be in the mail the next day. I ordered this hose for its expandable flexibility. It was neither of those. It tangled easily and was heavier than my other expandable non tangling hoses. Those were out of stock when I ordered this one. Returning it to Amazon as my original choice of expandable hose is now back in stock. There is no shrinkage in this hose before or after use that I could discern. Liked the included spray nozzle and hanging holder it came with. Made of sturdier material which I think made it more like a regular nonexpanding/shrinking hose. ... show more

My husband says this is a durable, very sturdy, flexible hose with a nozzle that has more varieties. Just drain the water out of the hose when you shut off the water from the spigot. Happy with purchase ( and of course… the delivery was right on time !!!)
