The brass fittings are better quality than many that I have had before and the hose seems to have better throughput than some. The nozzle is OK but the settings are a little hard to read and the most focused spray isn't as concentrated as others that I have had; I switched back to a nozzle from a previous (failed) hose for ease of reading and a better high pressure stream. This kind of hose is extremely convenient though they normally seem to last a little less than two years. We'll see hose this one does though it seems sturdier than some I've had before. I'm puzzled about the "lifetime warranty". There was no explanation with the package and, knowing that these hoses don't normally last that long; I'm skeptical. ... show more

Expandable garden hose is easy to handle & easy to store. Not as well suited to unattended watering in-place, because the hose needs to maintain pressure to stay expanded (and therefore comes out with more force.) (Durability? Seems ok, too soon to say.)

Our hose worked great for just over 2 years, until it suddenly had some type of internal mechanical failure. I emailed J&B, they responded in less than 15 minutes, shipped a replacement hose, and it arrived the very next day. I could not have asked for better customer service!

After a few time of using, we noticed a tiny pinhole leak when my husband used it for washing car. Other than that, i wasn’t crazy about the nozzle, it’s not as easy as some other types where you just set it and let it go, don’t have to keep pressing it down to keep the water running. UPDATE**I still love this hose! We use mostly for when we go to horse shows and when we need something that is easy to pack. It’s very lightweight, but it feels more durable than other shrinking hoses that I’ve owned. All previous shrinking hoses fell apart and leaked very quickly after purchase. I am so impressed with this hose thus far. I love that it comes with a nozzle with different spray options. It can also be turned on and off just below where it connects to the nozzle which is super handy. The portable hanging rack is super awesome, it hangs right from the spigot, and is great for coiling it up out-of-the-way when not use. We have this installed our wash stall now and will be getting the 75 or 100ft for shows. My kids love this hose because it’s light and easy to work with. This replaced a heavy-duty rubber hose that was difficult to coil and heavy. Although we try not to have this happen, My horses have stepped on this hose and I’ve had no leak yet! I’m surprised but happy with the quality. I would recommend this to anybody wanting a shrinking hose. ... show more

Two months of easy use and the hose splits 2 feet from the end. These types of expandable hoses are not repairable when such a failure occurs. I would not recommend this product. It is light weight but lacks durability even with light usage.
