Frequently ran out of battery time on my IPhone. And Mother’s Day provided another opportunity to give this as an often needed gift for my wife. I can say that it DOES recharge both phones, and does so easily and if I can say, elegantly too. My complaints are twofold. One: To go from completely dead, to around a 90% charge, takes about 3 and a half hours. My second problem is that, (as you might have picked up in problemo number one), the charging module can’t apparently provide a FULL 100% charge, before needing one itself. In the 4 attempts I’ve made to recharge my iPhone 12, the charger gets up to 90,or 91% TOP’S, before shutting down for need of a charge itself (taking another 3 1/2 hours…. Do I NEED 100% ? NO…. Would having enough “extra capacity” to bring my phone to 100% with maybe an extra 15 or 20% left over, before a needed charger re-charge ? - I say YES ….! This is NOT a cheap back-up battery device. It IS nice looking…. BUT, I’m a serious “form FOLLOWS function” kind of guy, who could do with a LOT less attractive, and a WHOLE LOT more EFFECTIVE at what it should DO for me. I’ve orders several of these iWalks. It comes in very handy as a portable iPhone charger. I just wish it had a tighter fit when plugged into my “old” iPhone 8 plus. The loose fit causes me to have to “force” the connection sometimes … and, the charger falls out if I’m not careful to hold it in place when I pick up or transport the phone. Strangest thing is that when it’s dropped a time too many, the iWalk seems to just “die” for a while. I’ve found if I keep it plugged in and left alone — except to perhaps move it from one electrical outlet to another — if will come back to life. ... show more

I kept this incase i switched my phone to a thinner case but it would only work with a thin phone case. I have an otter box on my phone and it does not fully plug in and won’t charge with my phone case. So you do have to keep in mind this portable charger does need to be pretty flush with the actual phone. ... show more

I purchased this for an upcoming trip to London England. While I have a camera, I tend to use my phone more than the camera for pictures and therefore run my phone battery down quicker than I like.
