  • EXCELLENT PEDAL
This pedal sounds very, very good. The price was a screaming deal and the overdrive tones are very versatile. A great "transparent" drive.

  • a solid, simple pedal that works well
Color: Pink Flame
This is a very good distortion pedal for the price. The casing is strong and durable, and the tone is generally good. The two drawbacks are that the tone filter is sensitive and cuts the highs and mids relatively quickly (becoming bassy and "boxy"), so that the range of usable tones is relatively limited. Additionally, the noise floor is higher than other comparably affordable pedals; thus, it is a bit noisy at high gain when engaged and you aren't playing (if you have a decent noise gate pedal you'll be fine). Still, it is a very good pedal. Stacks well with other gain pedals, too. ... show more

  • Great reverb pedal
Color: Digital Reverb
This reverb pedal is a good deal. Good price with 9 different effects. 7 reverbs and 1 flanger and 1 chorus. The decay and mix knobs let you get the sound you want with each effect. Nice wet reverbs if that's what you want and nice subtle ones with the mix turned way down. LOFI is really cool sounding and DUCKING has a nice haunting sound like it only plays the decay and not the attack. This is good for amps that don't have built in reverb This little pedal makes my little Blackstar Fly 3 amp sound huge. ... show more

  • Perhaps best described as an "interesting but unrefined" FX pedal
Color: Acoustic
Like all of the other cheapo-depot pedals on Amazon exactly like this one w/ different art, this is a nice little metal box with an internal processor (i.e. running a DSP chip w/ firmware) NONE of these $20-$30-$40 pedals have "real" (i.e. analog) components. So the sound is very digital IMO and not particularly pleasing. Note how the title just says "acoustic pedal" ... not "simulator" or anything like that, because it isn't. The two main "effect" knobs are TOP which brings in some rather trashy brilliance, and BODY which adds boominess in an equally odd manner. Sure, it can produce a different and (subjectively) "improved" sound for an electric guitar wishing for some acoustic flare, but that's about as far as it goes. Hey, it was worth a try for $26 but make no mistake: this is NOT a BodyRez or Acoustic Simulator clone. It's just a cheesy little digital pedal that messes w/ your guitar tone. Probably not what you're looking for, but it's only $26 and does feel solid in the hand if that's important to anyone, LOL !!! Not really recommended, but I'm keeping it for the weird factor. ... show more

  • Good value and love the compact size
Color: Purple Swirl
The flanger effect isn't one of the main ones I use but I do like to have it as an option. This isn't as versatile as the flanger options I have on my other multi-effects, like from Line 6 or Zoom, but I do like that it can be adjusted for a good variety, from subtle to much more obvious. Very simple to use, though I don't understand the naming of the toggle switch (hard, soft). The switch is more like subtle in the up position and more swirly in the down position. I'm glad there is a switch for options. I like the looks of this one more than the others in the similar price range, though the dark letters are hard to read on the dark purple paint. It's darker than the photos on the page. I feel like it's a solid construction that will not be at risk of breaking from being stomped on. I am glad it is an affordable option that doesn't take up a lot of space and doesn't have ugly graphics like so many of the others budget brands. You will need a power supply or adapter for attached a 9v battery, since this is no room inside for a battery. ... show more

  • Not bad at all! 👍👍
Color: Purple Swirl
I wanted to get a flanger/chorus pedal to compliment my pedalboard but I did NOT want to spend $200 or more on some of these insanely overpriced boutique style flanger effects I'd been looking at. I happened to come across this ISET Galaxy flanger effect and for only $25 and after watching a few YouTube videos on it I figured "meh....go ahead" and decided to give it a try. Straight out of the box this thing is immensely tiny, compact and easily fits on my pedalboard. Sound-wise.....well, it's definitely a flanger! Its 100% true bypass and to me it gives off more of a "tape like" flanging sound heard on music from late 1960's but with the color and range knobs you can easily dial in a more colorful "chorusy" type effect to an oscillating laser-like sound. The hard/soft switch lets you scoop more or less into the effect depending on whether you want a sound like a jet engine passing overhead to a more gentler dreamy-like tone. If you don't have a pedalboard with a power pack take note that there is no battery compartment and you'll have to have an AC adapter for it to work. The only gripe I have about it is unlike the picture shown here mine came more of a darker purple color and its difficult to see the writing by the switch and knobs. Its not a complaint bad enough to tarnish its rating but in my opinion the purple should be much lighter or writing should have been white or some other lighter color than black. Also I have to illustrate the fact this thing is Chinese made for such a cheap price and it will have me keeping a close eye on it quality-wise. Yeah, I know most everything is made in China but still in most cases you DO get what you pay for whether its Chinese made or not and I have heard plenty of stories about how these cheap Chinese made pedals die after a short period of usage! I just hope that's not the case also with this one. Bottom line, this ISET Galaxy analog flanger suits my needs just fine! If you're looking for an ultra cheap flange/chorus effect this is your pedal. ... show more
