When I first received the product I was confused as to how to put it on my knee. The product comes with a strap through the loops and it is affixed to the knee pad. Using the brace like that proved to be too short to go all around my leg. There were no explicit instructions, so I puzzled over it and then decided to remove the strap place the pad against the Patella, and then thread the strap through the loops. Success! It fit! I would recommend this product to anyone with reduced knee cartilage. It gives support and is very comfortable for walking, standing or sitting. ... show more

For sitting around after work it makes my knees feel much better and secure. However, if you plan on moving, walking, running, or kneeling they will slide down and become ineffective. I’ve had to use both on the same knee to get a decent hold which isn’t really viable because eventually it all does the same and I need a brace for activity. I had been to the doctor and received a cortisone injection for pain in the knee, at first the injection worked, for a day then walking from my car to the office my knee pain became severe, I couldn’t put weight on my leg. I was scooting around on an office chair to get around, midday I had an appointment with urgent care. I got crutches and a soft cast type thing and could at least get around. I had already ordered these and once they arrived I put them aside thinking things were beyond their capabilities. The leg cast thingy was a bit of a problem, it would slide down when moving about. I was putting a considerable amount of pressure on the other leg so I placed one of these on the good leg. There seemed to be less strain and it felt like I may be protecting the good knee using this. I decided to place this on the bad knee (that is why I got them) while I slept and the pain was greatly reduced. I can move about now, one nights sleep later with this and feel far less pain. Just to continue with more information I was crossing my leg prior to getting these, trying to put pressure on the side of my knee where the pain was. Placing pressure on the outside of the knee helped with the pain, these squeeze that very spot I was putting pressure on. Not knowing a thing about knees or medicine I can confidently say that these skinny bands helped where no one else could. No knock on doctors intended, these worked to allow me to get back on my feet. ... show more
