  • Here's my take
Size: 9 in 1 phone lens
I used to do professional DSLR photography for 5-10 years and shot RAW+bw JPEG/manual/3 point. I bought this as an intro foray into "phonetography" to mess around with some of these basic prime clip ons and overall, it's a good value- BUT The case is poorly made and doesn't really fit the lenses that well. There's only 4-5 slots and 8-10 lens components. I guess they're just expecting you to fit your spares in the mesh compartment, but since they don't come with back caps, I'm not willing to risk it. The CPL doesn't thread onto any of the other lenses, making it essentially useless for anything creative. Not only that, but it's warped and flares/causes artifacts, so it's pretty much junk. That and the other couple of "kaleidescope" or etc lenses are useless for anything other than a gimmick. That being said-- I was blown away by the quality of the 20x macro. I could clearly see the lines of my fingerprints without any significant blurring or distortion. Definitely a keeper. The rest of the basic "wide angle" and etc lenses seem pretty alright too. Nothing bad, nothing spectacular, but worth the price even if you discount the duds. One thing to bear in mind, however, is that they do tend to vignette a little bit if they're not perfectly aligned. So if your case is tight or camera placement weird, this could be an issue. For 20 some-odd bucks though? Definitely a fun little steal. I wouldn't pay 40 for this like it's been advertised as. At that point you're halfway there to a canon 1.8 and those are great little workhorses for the beginner, and apparently you can attach EF mounts to phones these days. I mostly just got this kit as an intro to what's out there to see what I might want to grab from a more professional brand like shiftcam eventually, but for a starter kit, it's definitely excellent. It does come with it's pros and cons though, so for that I'd probably give about 3.5 stars. It is worth what you pay for, though! ... show more

  • Real World Video In the Field - Field test
Size: 9 in 1 phone lens
The media could not be loaded. So a photographer, I'm always trying to find tools to make my life much earlier when it comes to vlogging my daily activities. I'd happen to only want to use my smartphone Zhiyun Smooth 4 or Q and DIY a shotgun mic to it. Now smartphone lenses have many designs but can weight a bit base one design and who is making it. This is where I come into problems looking for one that is good but lightweight and the KeyWing was the lightest I've seen yet on Amazon. The one problem is the mounting design should have been smaller and can reduce weight if it was much smaller. As a photographer, I just need a lens that is good and compact. This was close enough but I do like the fact of the mounting clap is a strong mount when placed on the smartphone device. Now I do have a video attach to this review and there will be more to come. The only issue now is looking for some type of ND/CPL filters that can fit on this lens. (I've mostly used the 0.36 Super Wide Angle when capturing video) The video will show you how wide it does get but without too much distorting in the frame. Some may say things but why? Isn't the iPhone sensor wide enough? My response is Yes and No. Yes, when you want to get some B-roll in some styles of videographer style and other is No because the scene doesn't look as good or not filling the scene that you want to capture. Keep in mind I've purchased this with my own money and there are things I should help Keywing come to an understanding about their design choices. For one, the next lenses should stay the same but as what Moment lenses created with a slim design phone case with a screw-on feature, KeyWing should really consider making a design with a phone case with a lens slide mounting feature and still make the phone case slim profile. (That's just me) because the lenses are beautiful but the mounting clap drives me insane and looks a bit big but not compact at all. Just throwing that out there so you understand how I feel as a videographer that is looking for better choices on the market but on a budget. I will be updating this as I only had it about a week and I want to test this for about 3 more weeks because I make my final review but there are some good and bad to this product but for the price now, this is a STEAL. ... show more

  • Fun to goof around with but not much else.
Size: 9 in 1 phone lens
The only lense worth your time is the macro lense, as it actually gives a clear picture, though with noticable chromatic abberation. The ultrawide lenses don't really serve a purpose in my eyes as my phone already does ultrawide up to 0.5x zoom. The only other lense that gave some promise was the 2x telephoto, but the picture looks distorted and theres a bunch of chromatic abberation. Overall, if you just wanna mess around with some lenses go for it, but if you're trying to do anything even slightly serious I cannot honestly say that it's worth it, even considering how relatively inexpensive it is. ... show more

  • Works well if you're ok with distorted edges in the picture
Size: Upgraded 7in1 Lens
The media could not be loaded. On par with the other lenses in this price range. Some of the lenses are interesting but the wide angle one (the most important of the kit) produces distortion along the edges.

  • 3/5
Size: 9 in 1 phone lens
I bought this product to use at a concert and when I got it I was half disappointed half happy. I bought it for the 20x macro lens and when I tried it out it was completely blurry, you couldn't see anything, I then wiped it with the cloth it came with and it was the same... blurry. If you are buying this product for the 20x Marco lens, I recommend not to! I tried out the other ones and the majority of them were completely fine, I was happy with how they looked. Overall 3/9 were broken! ... show more

  • Why waste your time
Size: 9 in 1 phone lens
I bought these to just check out what's new out there. The price isn't bad but with today's smart phones, these are just a waste of time.
