Description

The Boardless Skateboard is a radical new concept in self-propelled transportation! Simply place your feet inside the two rolling units and skate away with a natural “wave” motion. There are no batteries or motors to charge: large radius wheels rotate sideways around your feet for a smooth and stable ride over pavement or short grass. It’s like a cross between a skateboard and inline skates, but there’s never any need to push off the ground. Max. weight capacity 250 lbs. Light assembly required.

  • My son loves it!
My son loves all things that challenge his balance...skateboard, stilts , pogo stick, unicycle.....and these are SO challenging. You will need a helmet and safety gear for sure! Not for the beginner.

  • Almost impossible to use for the traditional person! I saw pro skateboarders who had a rough time with this. RE-THINK AS GIFT!
I feel this product is quite dangerous. I bought this for my 12, almost 13 year old who enjoys skateboarding. Neither of us were able to get this thing to work right like on You Tube videos. In fact, I stopped letting her use it after almost spraining her ankle when she fell, which looks like it could be VERY easy to do with this, she just got very lucky! I had some close calls myself.. it's not worth the money, unless you are a pro skateboarder, and in some videos I saw where people did have trouble, even people riding for decades couldn't get the swing of this. I'd say it would be better to be electric, know it IS NOT before purchase, but it would prove even MORE dangerous if it was, so that part didn't disappoint me. The overall product did. This is going back to Amazon. Thankfully, Amazon treats their customers wonderfully, as far as returns are concerned. IF you are planning on giving this as a gift, unless you are giving it to an adult, or teen pro skateboarder, who STILL will have some trouble starting it up & learning to make it move, I would NEVER recommend this product to the general public, based on our own experience. Get them an electric skateboard instead. Those look really cool & my daughter has been able to ride those successfully. I know it's far from the same thing, but it's mad cool! ... show more

  • Looks neat, but not neat.
I've always had crazy fun products like this. I loved my powered wheelman for years until a friend of mine killed it. My wife knowing I like stuff like this bought these as a gift for me. Neat concept, but not easy to use. I've roller-skated, surfed, skied (snow & water), skate-boarded, done just about every balance activity you can think of, but these are not designed well. You can't lift your feet or they fall off. They are cheap plastic so they feel horrible to wear on asphalt (you need to wear these inside to be smooth enough). You really can't propel forward well. ... show more

  • Tricky to use
I purchased these for a gift, but they were way to hard to use, even for an experienced skateboarder. Consider yourself warned.

  • Fun gift but hard
Bought these for my 12 year old nephew for Christmas. They are very hard to figure out. It became a challenge for him so he thought they were great but not easy to use.

  • Almost didn't buy, glad I did
Got these for my son's 11th birthday. I hesitated because most reviews said they were too hard. While they are hard, he's made impressive progress in two weeks and now only has problem getting started if he's not holding on to something. The riding, moving thing he's got down to an art. I think it helps that he is an expert on his ripstick. Not for everyone tho, definitely. ... show more
