Update after 4 years: the board finally stopped charging. Contacted customer service and they were diligent in troubleshooting the board before sending me a replacement battery, stating that "The battery can be return for credit or refund if it does not resolve the issue." They also tagged on some new bolts free of charge. The installment took less than half an hour, and now the board is ready for 2 more years of grad school. It's nice to see that their customer service remained so superb after all these years. If you're still concerned that this cheap board won't last you a long time, don't be----Those folks will make sure it does. -------------------- Original review: I am giving this a solid 5 stars, despite that I was the unlucky few that had some minor issues with the board initially. The circuit board had an issue which caused it to disconnect from the remote occasionally; and after I accidentally destroyed my remote, the second one that I bought sometimes turns off on its own as well. For a $300 board, I really wasn’t expecting much and was just going to leave it the way it is. But Blitzart replied almost immediately to the email that I sent at 11 PM and took the issues very seriously. They maintained frequent communications with me and quickly sent me a replacement circuit board and TWO replacement remotes (which to this day I am slightly wondering why), and asked for feedbacks afterward to make sure that everything worked properly. Again, I really wasn’t expecting their $300 product to be as solid as the $1700 Boosted Board, but you have to appreciate their effort to make it the best they could. I have been riding it every weekday for the past two months around my University, and this board is absolutely FLAWLESS after replacing the parts. Even if you have concerns about this product, you can purchase the Amazon warranty for either 3 or 4 years. Overall, I am very happy with this product, in fact, my only regret is that I didn’t get the dual motor. P.S: All the screws, including the trunk, are slightly loose when they came in. I bought this for my son and of course had to try it out. It has a surprisingly fast top speed. It’s a lot of fun to ride and works well. You can get a lot of riding in per charge cycle. The remote feels a little on the cheap side, but we have had no problems at all with it. A good helmet is a must. We are using a Thousand Heritage 2.0 helmet while riding it. ... show more

This review is for the Blitzart Hurracane 38” single hub motor electric longboard with black wheels. My body specifications are as follows; 6’4” / 200lbs. Now onto the Pros and Cons of this longboard. Pros: - Price! This board is very affordable at the sub three hundred price I originally paid for it. Cons: - Single Hub Motor! Board has absolutely no torque being a single motor board. Acceleration is poor. - Range! The farthest I could get this board to carry me on a full charge never exceeded 4 miles. 3.5 miles was my average. Mostly flat and smooth concrete surface as well. Combined riding into wind and wind at my back. - Battery Performance! The voltage sag is real on this board. Once the battery on the board drops below half-charge? Kiss your acceleration and top speed goodbye as the both take a major hit! - Deck Flexibility! The deck is solid, stiff, and has no shock absorbing effect whatsoever. - Remote Control Connection Issues! Be prepared to have the remote cut out on you frequently, even at inoportune times, potentially causing you to wreck or be thrown from board. - Brakes! Single hub motor... brakes are practically non-existant and offer no regenerative recharge when applied. Final Thoughts: Far too many issues with this board. Even more than what I listed above in the “Cons” section to be honest. After only a week of ownership and a few dozen miles ridden in total, I gave up on the board and sent it back to Amazon for a full refund. I absolutely do NOT recommend this board. Best starter electric board for the price? Meepo v1.5 electric longboard. That’s the one I ordered to replace this one. Blitzart, if you read this review? Please take this board off the market and rework your design. Copy Kieran and just build your boards similar to Meepo! Best of luck to you. ... show more
