For best use and results, the filter cartridge A is compatible for filter pump models 28603EG, 28637EG and 28635EG. For maximum efficiency and results for your above ground pool, the recommendation is to replace cartridges every two weeks. From the Manufacturer Intex filter cartridge - Cartridge A - to be used for the smaller pools - 8' - 18' Easy Set Pool Models, All of the Oval Frame pool models & the 18' Rectangular Frame Pool Models. Also fits pumps that take Type C filter cartridges. Easy to clean dacron filter material. Shrink wrapped with litho label. Replace cartridge every two weeks. We have used these all summer and they work great. We usually just rinse them out once as we have a lot of kids in the pool and the filters get very dirty. These filters last us about 2 weeks with the rinse out. The price we paid is very good compared to brick and mortar stores.

Convenient, comes in a 3 pack for the summer. easy to swap out and lasts a month each. what more can i say. I guess make sure u place it inside properly. if it doesn't seat correctly it comes out funky after a month but still seemed to work fine.

These filters fit perfectly in both of my Intex filter/pump setups. Not having a sand filter has its drawbacks, but I love the ease of these filters. They clean up easily for repeated use and have lasted more than half the summer already. I have 2 filters that are used and 2 on "backup" just in case something happens.
