My 12yo daughter is very focused on her skin care routine. Puberty can be rough and she immediately started a skincare routine as soon as she saw her first pimple. I can’t complain about that as I’m the same way with my skin. Initially, I had gotten her some small foam disposable face sponges. But after thinking about the waste of them I got these reusable silicone ones. They’re much softer actually and she loves using them. Plus they come as a set of 4 and she can alternate them while theirs are being used and cleaned and dried. Her skin has been so bright and clear since she’s started her morning and nightly routines and she appreciates all the different tools she gets to use doing this. These are easy to store, easy to use, easy to clean and easy to take along with her when she visits her aunts or grandparents. The colors are quite nice and there is no odd smell. They’re pretty simple to clean and dry. I like both the length, stiffness and softness of the bristles and material, though that may change with time. This is soft but effective, and to my surprise fun. It feels like you are giving your skin a little workout but it is gentle. They are bigger than I thought they would be, but it turns out that is fine by me. Allows you to gently scrub your face- just make sure you close your eyes when you get up to your near your lashes. I'm used to a smaller implement and have hurt my eyeballs more than once with these. They clean up better than a sponge too, so I don't worry as much about a soggy old sponge or washcloth with bacteria. I rinse it off nightly and let it air dry. The media could not be loaded. I use this every night and it removes all my makeup easily. It’s soft enough to not hurt my face but the silicone is strong enough to remove my makeup. I use it with Thane’s facial cleanser and I wear a tinted moisturizer, tubing mascara, blush, and lip gloss. I’ve used it daily for about one month and it is keeping its shape well! I ordered these because I was tired of using many different washcloths, and even the most tiniest washcloth would get that mildewy smell, which I’m really sensitive to!
