After using my old EcoTools facial brush for almost a year, I decided to replace it even though it showed no signs of wear, just in case the brush harbored any unpleasant bacteria within the bristles (I washed it regularly, alternating with facial soap and vinegar). The EcoTools Gentle Pore Cleansing Brush works just as well as my previous brush and gets my skin clean without irritating it. The brush is very well made with soft bristles that completely fill the head and don't come out and an easy to hold shape that fits comfortably in my palm. It seems to be the same quality as my first brush, and if the longevity of my first brush was any indication, it should hold up throughout the year without any issues. Overall, EcoTools make excellent facial cleansing brushes and I'll likely purchase another one once this one needs to be replaced. ... show more

    • Made my skin glow!
This product came on time, when I purchased it the picture showed a pink handle but it arrived with a gray handle, not a huge deal but just be prepared if your attached to the pink color. The bristles are surprisingly soft, and how much pressure you apply while using this determines how deep a clean you want. It leaves my face feeling tingly, clean and very soft! After using for 3 weeks I noticed my dull skin looking more glowing and after 5 weeks my skin is definitely glowing and some of the fine lines on my forehead are less noticeable! My skin is prone to breakouts and it seems to be helping in that area also, I use this brush with an antibacterial glycerin soap and I clean it after every use. I noticed in some of the reviews that people were having a hard time using the brush with the handle, the handle is actually made to be a stand for the brush so it can stand up and dry versus laying it down and possibly damaging the bristles or not drying completely. You actually hold the rounded back of the brush head not the handle part, this gives you better control on how much pressure you apply. I like a lot of pressure to get my large pores really clean so I've noticed that some of the bristles are getting permanently bent, I've been using this for almost two months now and it is still usable with a couple bent bristles, but I'll probably have to replace it in 6-8 months. This is a cute brush and it works well at cleaning your face for a manual brush. The bristles are relatively soft and you can get a good scrub in to remove dirt and makeup. I do think it would be easier to handle if it actually had a more pronounced handle. It can be a little cumbersome to grip, so it can be awkward to cleanse your face effectively. ... show more

I had purchased another brush that was way too soft. Then saw this and decided to give it a try. It's not too soft or too hard. It does a great job of scrubbing my face. It can be a little tricky to hold in soapy hands since there's no handle, but it's still well worth purchasing.

    • Unique Features are Great
This Ecotools brush works great because of some unique features. I have tried a small army of face cleansing tools including the Clarisonic, two by Sephora, both natural and bristle brushes by Bass, a puff by Body Shop and the classic Bufpuf. Among the tools I've tried, this one stands out because of some unique features. Like the Clarisonic, it has VERY short bristles. Like mainstream nylon brushes, each bristle is soft. What makes this brush work great for me is the combination of these features: short, soft and densely packed bristles. This makes the brush both non-irritating and deep cleansing. It easily removes my medium weight makeup, but at the same time, never feels too rough on the delicate under-eye area. I also think the handle-free ergonomic body adds to its functionality, allowing you to apply even pressure on the tool. Plus the flat base allows it to stand (versus lying down) and dry super fast. As an aside, the mister uses and likes this as well. Also, at the time I ordered mine, the featured photo was pink but I received a gray one. There was no option to select a color. ... show more

    • A bit softer than expected, but overall, OK
The brush is OK. I've tried a few brands over the years but still haven't found The One. I was looking for a manual complexion brush to replace the one I've had since the 80s. I refuse to pay $$$ for a battery-powered brush. I'm 65, have had sensitive skin all my life, but have always used mild cleansers and exfoliated my skin three or so times a week to keep the pores clean and skin free of the common problems. My skin looks really good now. This Ecotools brush is OK. It's softer than I expected or wanted, sort of like a silky washcloth, but there again it's soft enough that I can wash the mascara off my lashes. It's certainly softer than my old brush, and soft enough to use for a few swipes every day on sensitive skin. I would recommend it, as long as you're not expecting a thorough scrubbing or to remove heavy makeup--it would never work for that. Maybe I'll also try the deep cleaning Ecotools brush. ... show more

    • Great brush for the price!
I was shocked to see that it came in pink (which is a plus, I love pink) because it didn't give me the option to specify what color I wanted. Anyhow, I didn't really care for the color because the quality of the brush is what really matters, and let me tell you--the bristles are extremely soft! Usually facial brushes end up leaving burning sensations on my face when I use them, but this one felt so nice! My face has definitely gotten smoother and I know for a fact that the brush was the one responsible for the improvement in my skin's texture (it was the only thing I changed in my skin regime recently). It's also small enough for you to carry anywhere without it being an inconvenience. Overall, this facial brush is INSANELY cheap and exceeded my expectations! Definitely recommend. ... show more
