I wanted a silicone cleanser like this, rather than a rotating brush head because I've read some cautions from dermatologists that the rotating kind can leave microtears in your skin when used incorrectly. This is a smaller unit that fits nicely in my hand. The head is made up of tiny silicone bristles that vibrate when the cleaner is turned on. You can dial the intensity of the vibrations up or down, depending on your need. I don't wear makeup so can't attest to the efficacy of surface cleansing but I do notice my facial skin is much smoother. The area under my eyes was always a bit rough and this really smooths it out. You could use it with just water, but I put a dab of cleanser on it and the vibrations really help turn it into a nice lather. It's waterproof so can be used in the shower. I just make sure it's upright with plenty of air circulation so it can dry properly between uses. The one thing that's a bit of a problem is the charger. It's magnetic but the magnets aren't very strong and the charger has positive and negative ports that have to go the right way. The charging is on the reverse side but the indicator light is on the front. The only way to attach the charger is by laying the unit on it's face and laying the charger head down onto the charging ports. You can't see when it's charged without turning it and then the charging cable falls off. Other than that, it's a great cleanser that I'm really happy with. ... show more

I have only had this for a week. I am 57 and take pretty good care of my skin. I was hesitant to buy this, having silicone bristles, but the reviews were very good so I went ahead and purchased. You wash your face with this, then after you can also put on a serum and use it again to massage. It takes a bit to warm up and I haven’t really noticed it. It doesn’t get very warm, or I don’t massage long enough! Either way, my skin has not felt this clean and super soft/ smooth. After the first use I could tell a huge difference in my skin. I used it 3 days then took a day off then have used it a couple more times in this first week. It does have speed variations, but I have found the one I like and have stuck with it. It seems to be well made, easy to clean, easy to charge. I like the magnetic charging. Super easy. Have recommended to friends as well. Great purchase. ... show more
