I researched many outdoor electric heaters, after my initial 'research' of propane and natural gas heaters (decided to go with the cleaner energy option that electric enables). Infratech continually came to the top of the list of electric heater companies, given 1) their wide range of products and controls, 2) the number of positive social media discussions about them (including YouTube videos), 3) the large number of retailers selling them (outside of Amazon - both online and brick and morter), and 4) their apparent quality. I initially ordered this highest output heater (6000 watts), but later also ordered their 5000W and 4000W heaters for the same area (controlled by different Infratech Duplex switches), due to the higher wind chill factor in my covered but mostly open deck. ZBuys is simply outstanding with their responses - either the same day or the next morning. Always very clear and helpful replies. Although the CD-4024 (4000 W) heater was available for immediate shipment by another vendor, I still chose to order it from zBuys - even though it wouldn't be delivered for several weeks. My experience with their service and responses for my CD-6024 (6000W) order convinced me to continue doing business with them. ... show more

I installed it on a covered patio and the heating is excellent. The installed the dual switch so that I can turn on each heating element separately based on the weather conditions. The heater does require you to have a 30 AMP dedicated circuit.

Heat is great but slimline version is too flimsy. Put dent in it with my finger and hard to mount straight without it twisting. Heat output is great
