I bought these thinking I would play with them awhile and then give them to my grandkids to have fun pretending to be spies or whatever. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they worked. I took them outside at. Night with no moon to try them out. I turned them on and once I got the hang of focusing them, I could see my neighbor’s barn clearly and it is over 200 yards away. This was some toy! I took several pictures to try the camera out. The pictures came out clear and well defined. I accidentally snapped a picture of the night sky and it showed stars that I couldn’t see with my naked eyes. I shot a couple of videos and they came out great also. I had to learn how to adjust the IR to get the best results for the distance I was viewing, but, once I got the hang of it, it works great. These are not top tier night vision goggles, but for the price and quality, you won’t care. I recommend them as starter goggles or if you’re on a tight budget and want, or need, a good set of night vision goggles. This is my first night vision system. I am very happy with the purchase. I can easily see 200 plus yards in total darkness with this. Now the display becomes somewhat pixelated at full magnification at night, but for the cost I will not complain. Worth the cost.

I bought these on a wim just because I needed something for coyote hunting. Rather than spotting fields with my scope I tried these out. Impressive is the best I can describe it. Ir light is actually very bright, the screen is clear and they’re not heavy. I wouldn’t wanna drop them but that’s for any binocs. Easy to use, I wish the buttons were glow in the dark so I could see them but whatever I’ll get use to it. So if you’re looking for something that works good, for a good price. These are yours. The only down side is the need for AA batteries, but the good thing is that you don't need to recharge, just replace them and keep viewing. I got these, read the instruction booklet (I know, who does that right?), put the batteries in and powered them up. It was daytime, so I was just looking through them at the critters out back. Thinking I would put them down and try them at night, I tried to power them off. Key word here is tried. They wouldn’t power off. Gave a few other buttons a go (zoom in, zoom out) and they didn’t work. Had to pull a buffers out to get it to power down. I read the instruction booklet again, replaced the battery I had removed, and took them into the basement in the dark. Again, they would power up, but no other buttons worked. You could tell they were on, but I could see nothing. I had to pull a battery again to get it to power down. I tried to contact the seller, but it took them 8 days to get back to me. By that time I had returned them to Amazon and gotten a refund. ... show more
