A definite plus ; On the left A major name alkaline battery (3 AA) and on the right the imuto rechargeable Lions - the lights are each 100 color fairy lights. Imutos lasted 8 days, major name lasted 10. These are probably the best performing Lions I've seen yet. that's the plusses - here's the downsides - I'd like to buy more of these batts without buying a charge each time but can't find them separately. Second, the charger will for some reason not charge just any rechargeable, only certain brands. However, this is better than other ones I've gotten out here recently that don't seem to charge ANY battery not of the same brand. Bottom line - I want more of these, just without additional chargers - BTW - chargers are USB powered which is a BIG plus ... show more

a) Arrived well packaged and complete. B) I like the fact that they are 1.5 volts like regular disposable batteries. Most rechargeable batteries are closer to 1.2 volts which some tools/toys do not like. I also like the charge case which uses the same USB-C cord that my phone uses. c) These arrive with some charge to them and the case charges them nicely. Using for a smoke alarm, and also for a camera flash unit, neither likes the NiMH rechargeable. d) My first thought was "Tis a bit spendy", but when I consider they are 1.5 volt, have the convenience of a compact charger and a carrying case and will have many cycles, it is not a bad value. I will edit if I find the charge does not last, but so far so good. ... show more

I've been replacing single use batteries with rechargeable batteries and so far, these are working great! I used these in my wireless trackballs, I have two of them, and each takes two batteries. So far, they are working well and holding a good charge. I started off giving them a full charge. The charger has a green LED for each battery, that blinks while charging, and is solid when fully charged. It does come with a USB cable, but not the charger, but that's typical for USB powered things. These have a voltage regulator in them to provide 1.5v output, even though single lithium cells are 3.7v. The only drawback to the way this work, like all Lithium batteries, you get full power until they are dead, then they just stop working. So, what you are going to find is that your device will get full power all the way until the battery is completely dead, meaning you are not going to get a warning that the batteries are low. Your device will show 100% one second and 0% the next, because the normal decline in voltage as the battery is depleted just isn't happening at all. It's not just these batteries, it's all lithium batteries, it's the nature of how they work, and it's something to be aware of. In the case of my mouse, it has an LED on it that normally will normally flash red when the battery is low... well with these batteries, that never happens, so I'll just be rolling around and then it will suddenly just stop, and it gets me every time, I should know it's the batteries, but I fiddle with the switches on the bottom, and check my Bluetooth settings, and then go, get some batteries, and of course that's what it was. I have two of these trackballs, one for my desktop, and one for my laptop, so I normally just go get the batteries from my laptop mouse and put them in the desktop mouse which I use way more, and then go charge the batteries, when those are done I put them in the laptop mouse, that way I end up rotating them and my laptop mouse ends up with fully charged batteries even if I don't use it for a few months, which is handy when I want to go somewhere with it. These are really great batteries; just be aware you are going to have 100% power all the way until they are depleted and then they will just switch to 0%, there is nothing in the middle... but they do last a very long time, and its way better than constantly buying batteries! ... show more
