The media could not be loaded. I didn’t know I needed an immersion blender until I ordered one. It came in a box with several nice attachments, a chopper that can be used as a mini food processor and an eggbeater attachment. The blender feels super heavy duty and is very powerful. It has a turbo button that was amazing in the way it crushed ice. It is a well-made quality blender by my standards. I initially ordered it thinking it would be great for baking, I made a corn bread recipe, but for me it was not very useful, and my initial impression is that it may not be as good for baking goods (especially when the batter is thick, it splatters batter outside the bowl and was slow in the mixing of the batter or maybe I need a deeper bowl). However, I make a lot of fruit smoothies and let me tell you it’s way easier than having to pull out the big bulky blender. You just throw everything in a cup (frozen fruit, ice, protein powder, yogurt etc.) submerge in the blender and you are done! I had my doubts if the blender was going to be powerful enough to crush the ice, but it works just like a regular blender and the turbo button added a powerful but stable experience for my hands without jerky movements. And I love that my protein powder doesn’t stick to the walls like it usually does in my other blenders. Plus, this product was extremely easy to clean. I like to make my own seasoning sauces and the chopper worked perfectly, within the chopper everything worked very good chopping all the ingredients, onions, peppers, avocado in a small batch, so I was again very pleased with the fast and effortless way it came out. I also enjoy making pumpkin soup, so I can't wait to use this blender for that. It’s usually such a hassle to move the hot ingredients into a big blender and not be able to fit everything in one go. With this I can just blend right there in the pot. Overall, I recommend this product. ... show more

I have used this Immersion blender a number of times since receiving it. It's powerful, easy to clean and has performed well each time. I like the stainless steel, easy to clean. It has a number of speeds although I find it hard to see the numbers, when using it in the counter area, a contrasting color would be nice. That said I tend to use the turbo speed for most things so the button for that is easy to find and use. I recently used it to chop herbs for Herb Roasted Tomatoes. It chopped the herbs fine, which some blenders struggle with -- I also used it to chop the tomatoes after they were roasted using a lower speed. Worked great each time. The plastic container has rubber feet on it which keeps it in place most of the time. It would be nice to have rubber around the entire bottom. I found when working with food with oil, if a little got on the counter the container would slide. Overall, very pleased. ... show more

This is a pretty good emersion blender. But I did think it was battery operated from the pictures, but that's not the case. So if you're looking for one that's battery operated, look elsewhere. In terms of its operation, it does a good job blending my smoothies and purees. It chops through the ice pretty well so far and certainly purees the heck out of my veggies. The egg beaters are decent. They don't jiggle around (I've had others that do) so that's been good. It can be a little difficult to get it attached though. I haven't tried the food processor yet so I'll maybe update this review if I do. Overall this is a fairly good product at the price offered. It would've just been so much better (for me at least) if it were battery operated. ... show more

I'm reviewing "Immersion Blender Handheld 1000W Powerful Hand Blender, Scratch-Resistant Hand Mixer with 20 Speeds, Heavy Duty Copper Motor Stainless Steel Smart Stick with Egg Beaters and Chopper/Food Processor" which I received via the VINE program. I have an ancient immersion blender that I got when they first started appearing on the market and it is still working but not very well. The button is wearing out, and it's just time to replace it so when I saw this on VINE, I grabbed it! What a DIFFERENCE!!! This one is great! It has two buttons, multi-speed or turbo, and a speed control dial when in the multi-speed mode. It blends up a tomato sauce as smooth as can be with minimal effort. Same result when using the chopper attachment, and the beaters! It's a heavy duty unit and does not seem to bog down on my usual recipes, tomato sauce, potato leek soup etc. I'm really impressed with this immersion blender and am definitely going to retire the old one. Using the beaters on some scrambled eggs is my next test. If it doesn't perform the way I expect it will, very wonderfully that is, I'll update my review, but at this point, I don't think that will be needed. ... show more

This thing is powerful, and it’s quiet too! We made homemade tomato soup and those tomatoes didn't stand a chance. Thats when the speed control on the top of the device comes in handy! The food chopper is an incredible addition and works wonderfully. I have been using it to chop up the additions to our salads: carrots, onions, cilantro,radishes, etc. It makes the semi-weekly food prep so much easier! It’s the perfect size for my husband and I, and is much easier than having to get out the large food processor. My only critique is that the On/Off button could be better designed. It seems odd that it can be pushed very deep into the device. A shallow button would make it much more comfortable to hold. It’s the smallest critique though, because that’s all I can come up with… this is an excellent small blending device! ... show more
