I got one of these bags for everyone in my family. We hate paying for checked bags and this one fits perfectly in the personal item slot for Spirit and Frontier (went to the airport specifically to check! Lol) but you have to remove the wheels. Havent travelled with it yet but this will definitely fit everything needed for a 5 day trip or thereabouts. Perfect for my kids also. Great quality and love that the wheels are removable. Make sure to close the extender when putting it in the personal item slot at the airport, otherwise it will be a bit too wide to fit and they'll make you pay to check it or carry it on. Came just like the picture wheels were so easy to put on and moved so well, it’s not super loud like most luggages. The picture is my 18 inch carry on next to a 22 or 24 inch carry on and there is a noticeable difference. The handle on the 18 inch is longer so even though it’s smaller you don’t have to bend down just to reach the handle. I’m not quite sure about the cup holder it doesn’t look very sturdy but other than that I love it so far and can’t wait to use it. ... show more

Each airline lists different allowed dimensions for carry-on: this luggage satisfies them all. It survived 4 trips as checked baggage, without a scratch. It comes with 2 spare wheels, which are easy to remove or install. The suitcase and accompanying bags have excellent zippers.

the luggage is perfect if you are looking for something that fits under the seat and is "personal item" size dimensions. however, i am specifically looking for an under seat luggage with a cupholder that will fit most beverages. unfortunately, the cup holder attached to this luggage does NOT fit a Starbucks venti size cup nor a standard Fellow thermos. i really wanted to make this work as it is a great deal for 3 pieces but unfortunately i will need to return this as the attached cupholder was most important to me. if the cupholder isn't a selling point for you than i would still purchase this because everything else is perfect. ... show more

If you wanna know if this bag fits in the Spirit or Fronteir personal item box, look no further. I trusted the other reviews and took a chance! So glad I did. I have travelled spirit and Fronteir for years packing all my stuff into a back pack. It has worked but I always end up with shoulder pain from the straps. That problem is long gone. I packed my stuff into my mini suitcase and went straight to the airport. I had a departing flight on Spirit and returning on Frontier. Both agents asked me to check my bag size (of course, since they doubted it would fit) but to their surprise if fit perfectly! (With out the wheels). Best purchase Iv made in a while. Disclaimer: 1. Take wheels off before getting to the gate, and then just pop them right on afterwards. 2. When sliding the bag into the box, leave the zipper side up, slightly open. That way you can slide your hand inside the suitcase and pull the bag out. (My bag kinda got stuck inside the Frontier bag check box and it took me a while to slide it out). ... show more
