2 Adults and 4 children, we're going to Florida in a week and I realized I don't have any suitcases. So I panic bought these despite the lack of reviews, a majority of them seemed to be positive. I can tell you sincerely I am not disappointed. 1. The price is well below the average price for a hard shell suitcase let alone 2 so I was skeptical but everything seems great so far. 2. The Quality, everything seems to be well made, when buying anything underpriced I always worry about Zipper quality because that really makes or breaks the product but these seem to be durable and well built. The wheels looked a little flimsy in the photos but hold up in person very maneuverable in an upright and tilted position. 3. The cons. I fully inspected these because of the low price looking for a reason they were so cheap. The only flaws I could find were a small peice of fabric from the outside lining had a lose string and the roller handle is a little flimsy but I've never dragged a suitcase that isn't. Both bags even came with a Zipper lock. They are advised as light weight but i wouldn't say there is a noticeable difference between the weight of these and a standard suitcase in the same category. I used the suitcase for airline and car travel. The corner of the case by the wheel was damaged and cracked some how which made the one wheel not work properly. The plastic is too thin especially by the wheels.

I used the bigger one for the first time in April , for a trip to Cabo San Lucas. It is light , extremely manageable, and fit 9days worth of clothes and girly stuff well. The smaller one is great for weekend getaways, and I get a lot in it too. Zippers work well, wheels are smooth, some scratches and marks. I thought it might be too light and maybe crack (baggage is thrown around a lot)but it held up really well. Love the color, it was easy to spot. Would recommend for vacation travel. ... show more

I bought these in June for an August trip (past the 30 day return window), they had decent reviews & seemed like a good price. Having issues with previous brands rolling really well in the store but then not when they are full, I immediately put some weight in them & rolled them around my house on various flooring types as to not be fooled again and they were great, I was very happy. I set out on my trip & was pleased with their maneuverability through the airport! Baggage claim proved successful & I was off to my cruisetour that included a short small flight a couple days in. Once I received my luggage in my room that evening I noticed a tear near one of the wheels & was disappointed that I would have to return once back.. Next stop was worse, no surprise, but by the next stop 2 more wheels were all but completely torn off & rendered unrollable! Had it not been for my cabin steward who found me a whole roll of packing tape which I incased the bag in for my trip home allowing me to drag it through the airport, I'm not sure what I would have done & certainly my unmentionables would have been strewn all over the tarmac & luggage claim area! One of the reasons I felt safe purchasing was the 5 yr warranty that came with the bag. What a joke! A warranty that doesn't cover "damage by the common carrier" & costs you a $40 handling fee for the company to provide a "warranty evaluation"??? I think we all know how that would play out! Luckily Amazon is the best! A customer service rep was able to waive the return fee & refund my purchase for all but the $28 that Rockland will charge them for a "restocking fee". It cost me $28 & a big headache on my trip but at least I didn't have to pay $40, ship the bag back only to have Rockland determine it was "the common carrier's" fault & give me nothing! if you look through the questions asked section, you will see lots of pictures that look just like mine....So it's not an uncommon problem. I searched high and low for sturdy luggage at a good price. I’m so glad that I ordered these suitcases. They’ve gone on four trips with me and each trip had horrible weather. They held up and cleaned of great! Pros: - Sturdy, heavy material - Cleaned easily when removing dirt and grime - Bright yellow color stands out when looking for your luggage - The pull handle and wheels functioned as expected Cons: - I don’t have anything that comes to mind, but would like to mention that the smaller one passed as a carry on with Delta but not Jet Blue. ... show more
