I followed the instructions and cleaned my chair’s surfaces before applying this tape. Within 24 hrs. the tape was pulling loose. Might have been due to the curved area I was trying to cover. The straight surfaces are holding. Ended up applying clear packing tape over the red tape that didn’t stick. Looks bad but better than purchasing a new chair. ... show more

Does not actually stay on my sofa. I bought this because my cat has scratched the side of my faux leather couch. I put it in a couple of places, I have sat there pressing it firmly for a minute or two , and within 20 minutes, it started peeling off on all sides. I have tried taping it down to try to get it to stay. I have tried removing it, cleaning the area, drying it out and replacing it with new strips, all with the same results. It’s not a great product.
