Does not actually stay on my sofa. I bought this because my cat has scratched the side of my faux leather couch. I put it in a couple of places, I have sat there pressing it firmly for a minute or two , and within 20 minutes, it started peeling off on all sides. I have tried taping it down to try to get it to stay. I have tried removing it, cleaning the area, drying it out and replacing it with new strips, all with the same results. It’s not a great product. I used this to patch a few scratches I had on my hot tub cover. 1. I cleaned the area first 2.mesured and cut the patches. 3. after I rolled them out I found they wanted to roll back up so I placed them on the heater vent for a while to make them more pliable. 4. I pealed the backing and rubbed them onto the surface several times. after two weeks they seem to work great. I hope they make through the summer heat. ... show more
