The product quality is amazing and worth the money. It's sleek, and roomy inside. I measured the inside of the fridge with a ruler and the glass shelves measure about 14 inches wide. The little freezer is pretty roomy as well. I was able to fit 4- 8oz cool whip containers inside the little freezer compartment. I got this to put my cakes and cold ingredients since I am trying to learn to bake and decorate cakes. The only issue was the delivery. The bottom was dented and caused the fridge to stand tilted. It also had a small dent in the top back corner. I reported the issue to Amazon right away and they offered an amount of compensation for the damages to avoid returning it. Which I agreed because the chance of getting a new one and it not being damaged in some way, is low. It's a risk taken in having an appliance shipped unfortunately 😔. But anyway, I'm glad that they were very helpful and I'll be fixing the tilting situation on my own. The fridge is worth it in my opinion! I had to replace my old GE mini fridge that my sister's ex-husband gave to me twenty years ago because it died. This one has slightly less interior room than the other one, but it does the job and keeps things nice and frigid. In fact, one of my water bottles had ice in it after being in the fridge for 24 hours. The little freezer slot even froze the water in the included ice cube tray after a day. It’s not the quietest fridge. I don’t know how I would feel about it in a dorm room, but it works well in my office. I recommend putting it on a stand if possible, otherwise it’s very low. That’s not a flaw, it’s just because she’s a shorty. 😊

This mini fridge does its job. It keeps things cold, fits into a small space, and doesn't make obnoxious noises or dribble on the floor or anything like that. The freezer is uneven. Things in the back may not freeze well, and a head of lettuce placed under the freezer may burn. The built-in door features may be perfect for someone mainly storing cans and bottles, but it doesn't really work for me. But now that I've learned the quirks, I can make it work. It is quiet, but not silent. It makes a sound when it kicks on, then while it's running it sounds like a whispering ghost. Not loud, but not silent either. This little fridge is fantastic and works great. I bought it as a replacement for an old refrigerator in our bedroom. This Igloo is so quiet that you don’t even notice it is there while standing close to the bed. The capacity is more than expected and the cooling of the contents is excellent. Just received my mini fridge today at my retail store and I'm tremendously disappointed. Packaging appeared fine and secure but it wasn't packed in a secondary box; just the primary box that you would typically see in a big box store. Regardless of the aforementioned the numerous dents to the body and the front door abrasion is totally unexceptable. There is a plethora of mini fridges on the market for far less than what I paid for this particular one, unfortunately in the case when it comes to the quality and price it just doesn't add up. Great size for the office, looks nice, tons of room, works great, reversible door is super easy, but this thing is LOUD. If you turn the thermostat to anything but 0 or 1, the compressor is constantly kicking on (like 5 or 6 times an hour, for 3 or 4 minutes at a time) and it sounds like a flock of cooing birds. So you have to choose between keeping your stuff cold and dealing with the noise, or keeping it semi quiet and your stuff isn't even remotely cold enough. The freezer is useless unless you turn it up to level 7 and the compressor stays on almost constantly. ... show more
