The IG INGLAM Air Straightener is a fantastic all in one tool for styling wet hair, especially if you have damaged hair and want to help it. It comes beautifully packaged in a sturdy box, perfect for storing it after use, along with a travel friendly bag for convenience on the go. While it might take some time to fully understand and make the most of its airflow feature, For best results, I recommend drying the roots first before using it to straighten the rest of your hair or the opposite. Also I recognized while using it it give the ability to curl the ends inward or outward, allowing you to create soft waves effortlessly, especially if you have long hair. I think it needs time to be used to enjoy the benefits of air straightening & enjoy faster styling and frizz free results. This wasn't any faster than a normal blow dryer, and is a bit heaver than the normal hair dryer I use. It is a nice shape and easy to hold as I straighten/dry my hair. After finishing, My hair was not frizzy at all, which is great. I got my roots dried as well, using the method suggested in the instructions. Mechanism The mechanism of straightening is same as commercially available branded Air Straightener, the only difference is that IG INGLAM Air Straigtener is slightly heavier. It blows the hot air with pressure to give the hair blow dry effect. Safety Because the tool itself is not hot that touches your hair, the hair damage is less and while using it I was touching the device with bare hands. Felt very relaxed while using it as my toddlers despite my toddlers who like to touch everything were around. Price Expensive if you compare with Flat Iron but at $139 if comparing with branded Air Straightener, worth it. Durability The curling/ Styling Air wrap does not work that much for me on my thick wavy East Asian hair but the wavy ness and Frizz that I wanted to control lasted for the entire week / before next hair wash. The only flaw I found was that I am not able to twist the ends of my hair to give a little curve or curl that flat Iron could do. ... show more

This air straightener does a great job. It has settings for the amount of heat and air flow. You can leave it on and lock it to use the tool to dry your roots. It doesn't take very long to fmgo from wet to dry and straight. I did not a bit more frizz than usual with this tool but not using heat makes it worth it to me. The tool is a bit bulky in my hand and my hand got a bit tired when clamping and unclamping but im sure I'll get used to it over time. It cones with a comb, instructions, and a case. ... show more
