Should I Buy It?

If you are willing to take a risk or have the technical know-how to troubleshoot potential issues, the system seems to offer a good performance for gaming when working correctly. However, due to the substantial number of critical hardware-related complaints, buying this product carries a notable risk. It might be prudent to consider alternatives or ensure there is a robust return policy before purchasing.

  • Very fast and quiet
So I got this system in and have had no issues with it at all. Great packaging, though be careful taking taking the Styrofoam out so that you don't bump your video card. I have been running Elden Ring and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous for two days without a reboot. No lag and amazingly no noise. Extremely quick and quiet. Didn't really review the tech support because I haven't had to call or E-Mail them. ... show more

  • Everything on this PC that was proprietary has broken
Unfortunately, I needed to purchase a new PC during the GPU shortage. Being unable to source a GPU, I had to resort to a pre-built. If you are looking to purchase a pre-built I would definitely recommend that you look elsewhere. Timeline since my purchase. Day 1: Trashed the mouse and keyboard that came with this. I have never felt a keyboard that felt so mushy. They just passed you e-waste. I wish they didn't include these and just gave you a discount of a $1. Honestly, I wouldn't even pay $1 for these. 5 months: Start hearing noises from inside the case. Case fans are clean but you can hear a grinding noise from the rear exhaust (had to replace). Also the AIO starts acting up. 6 months: AIO dies (replaced), front intake fans start making noise even though they are clean. 7 months: Front intake noise gets louder and needed replacement. The ONLY ibuypower item left in this build is the case. But, I'm changing that as well, judging by the quality of their other products, you never know when it's just going to fall apart. ... show more

Good pc for gaming , the price is reasonable. and the shipping package is good protection. no any damage when I received it. I think it should show the motherboard model in the spec. but finally I am satisficed of the motherboard , the model is Z690.

  • Worked for 5months until.
I got this pc as a birthday present. It was great at first, was able to play mw2 and a bunch of games off start. About a month in I started noticing it randomly freezing and crashing into blue screen. I didn't think much of it. Maybe over heating or something. Kept playing for months. Until it stopped. I was wanting to play PS5 titles off of steam. I noticed my internet wasn't stable off of downloads and it didn't feel right. Because when I normally downloaded games it crashed. But I wasn't expecting it to ever work again this time. I tried to thumb drive windows 10. I tried repairing. I tried resetting. I tried restoring. I tried wiping the memory. I'm not extremely tech savvy. So I didn't wanna cause more problems. I'm sad. Because I really enjoyed the build minus the crashing. It finally went blue. Spent 10 hrs trouble shooting. Before set a return to Amazon. Which. I'm still waiting to hear back from. Don't buy an ibuy from Amazon. Worst PC experience I've dealt with and my first PC experience. ... show more

  • Initial review - some difficulty upon first receipt, but in one piece and in working order so far
I'll be editing this review as I experience this PC, but I just wanted to say right out of the box that some users may panic because this says "wifi ready" and mine did not arrive with WiFi capabilities. I made sure the card and connections were properly seated, which they were, and went through 1,000,000 BIOS settings and MSI support only to find that the Intel WIFI drivers had not been installed and thus I could not use the wireless card. Upon downloading from another PC that I was replacing and installing and rebooting, wireless appeared and I now have no trouble. The included keyboard is nice, as I previously had a laptop (the A key didn't work for quite some time), but can be a bit loud for those used to membrane keyboards. I've got a Redragon Perdition that I've been using for ages that I can't let go of, so I can't speak to the included mouse. Other than that, well done, good and fast delivery. ... show more

  • Common Defects
Be aware, it’s very common for these computers to have their graphics cards damaged during shipping. Jumped on a Prime Day Deal to get this pc now that crypto crashed and gpu’s are more available. Unfortunately it arrived defective. The computer turned on, fans and rgb all came on, but nothing on the monitor. Beyond the obvious thing of trying different dp/hdmi cables and ports, and trying another monitor, iBuyPower has a list of troubleshooting steps for this issue on their website (and a YouTube video, which is a plus if you’re not comfortable working inside the case). The steps are: try different stick/slot combinations with the ram, try reseating the graphics card, and then try replacing the battery on the motherboard. None of these steps fixed the problem for me. What’s worse, this all happened on a Saturday, and their customer service is only open on weekdays. So after waiting until Monday, calling from work, and sitting on hold for over an hour, I spoke to tech support, and they said the graphics card was probably damaged during shipping (they pack some foam in the case to help support it, but those gpu connections are really not designed for anything more than sitting on a desk). The options they gave me were: 1. Pay for a new graphics card, and get a refund after I mailed mine back. But there was still a risk that the motherboard may have also been damaged, so a new gpu wasn’t guaranteed to solve the issue. 2. Send the whole computer back to iBuyPower to do a full repair. This would take 2-3 weeks plus shipping. 3. Return the computer through Amazon and get a replacement. Obviously I went with the third option. Took about an extra week after all of this to get the computer running, but the new one works great so far. Doing some additional research, I found that this is an extremely common problem with these computers. I really wish they would just ship the computer with the graphics card uninstalled, because it seems like that would prevent this. From reading up on other people having similar issues, this might also come down to what brand of motherboard and graphics card you happen to get. The first defective computer had gigabyte-brand parts, which many other people reported problems with. The second computer had MSI parts, and it started up without issue. Ultimately, their tech support and Amazon’s support were nice enough about it (although it’s pretty annoying that iBuyPower doesn’t have tech support outside normal work hours during the week), and I did eventually get a better-than-average pc out of this. Just be aware that this sort of problem is not unusual, and it may be more of a headache to get your new computer working than you expect. ... show more

  • Great parts bundled in this thing.
Affordable and plays triple A title games great. No issues of any kind and the pc is surprisingly quiet compared to my old one.
