  • Great PC so far--loving the aesthetics and the build!
Style: i7-12700F | RTX 3060 | 1TB SSD Pattern: Gaming PC
First off, the LED lights on the tower are controlled by remote and can be turned off completely, which was important to me if I'm using the PC in the dark. I've only been using the PC for a day, and I'm very impressed! Everything is running smooth; the inside of the PC looks great and is very organized. RAM/Memory can easily be upgraded if you need that! I am a little sad that there is no USB-C port, but I knew that going into the purchase, and I accepted it for the price that I paid! Other than that, the fan isn't loud at all. Granted, I haven't played the heaviest of duty games yet, so I will update when that day comes but right now through some video and photo editing, I've been very impressed! :) The WiFi isn't the fastest, so I do recommend having an ethernet connection readily available if you can. It works enough for most tasks but the speeds are noticeable when running an internet speed check. The keyboard and mouse are good quality as well. ... show more

  • This PC is honestly impressive
Style: i7-12700F | RTX 3060 | 1TB SSD Pattern: Gaming PC
Let me start this review by saying: I've been around computers my entire life. I have built my own, I have purchased prebuilt PCs, and I have assembled computers for friends. I have had poor experiences with prebuilt computers in the past, mainly because the CPU was bottle-necking the GPU or vice versa. I always had to upgrade it in some way, whether it be the RAM or installing a new CPU... I was never able to plug it in and play it right away without upgrading it in some way. The positives: I received this PC and was immediately impressed with the build-quality, the cable management, and the temperature of the computer when running intense games. Both the CPU and the GPU hover at around 70 degrees Celsius when running graphics-intense games - that's an ideal temperature in my opinion and will not easily overheat the computer. The 3060rtx located in this computer is ideal for gaming at high FPS mainly because it's the 12gb version of the 3060rtx. Had it been the 8gb version, I would have warned you to stay away - but the 12gb version is nearly perfect for high-end gaming and is a perfect match with the i7-12700f in this computer. The negatives: I have only two. Firstly, the fans can get quite loud in this pc - I suspect it's mainly the GPU fans, because whenever I open a game and a little action happens, the fans kick in pretty hard. It's definitely not a dealbreaker, especially if you have headphones. The second negative is not really a negative, but 16gb of RAM seems like it almost isn't enough for most games nowadays. Even just opening WoW on this computer uses roughly 14gb of the RAM. That's easily upgradeable and not a dealbreaker in the slightest. In summary, I recommend this PC to anyone looking to purchase a good gaming computer. It's nice enough that it should last for years to come, and you can upgrade it in the future if necessary. I haven't been this excited about a PC in years and would happily purchase from Cyberpowerpc in the future. ... show more

  • Very good machine for the price with only two small gripes.
Style: i7-12700F | RTX 3060 | 1TB SSD Pattern: Gaming PC
I'm loving the speed and performance of this machine so far. It was very easy to set up out of the box and the cable management inside the case is top notch. I only had two things that bothered me with this setup. First there is no easy or clear way to disable the LEDs on the fans. They're very bright and distracting, and I haven't been able to successfully disable them as of yet. I've tried both the GIGABYTE Control Center software as well as changing the LED setting in the BIOS, neither has worked. I'll keep working on this and update the review if I find a solution. Second, and most serious in my opinion, is the bundled program cFosSpeed. This is part of getting any MSI motherboard from what I read, it's part of their new bloatware package. When I finally had the machine all set up with all programs installed and configured I couldn't figure out why my internet speeds suddenly went into the toilet. Every other device on the network was getting the speeds they should be getting except this new computer. After a lot of research it led me to cFosSpeed. I tried disabling it, and what do you know the problem went away. I'm not sure what genius thought this software was necessary or a good idea, but all it did was cause problems. For anyone who buys this machine and can't figure out why your network upload and download speeds are suddenly much worse, I guarantee this is the issue. To fix it just follow these steps: 1. Open Task Manager by pressing CTRL - SHIFT - ESC 2. Click on the Startup Apps group on the left 3. Look for cfosspeed.exe, right click on it, and choose Disable 4. While still in Task Manager click on Services on the left 5. Find cFosSpeedS in the list, right click on it, and choose Open Services which will open a new window 6. Find cFosSpeed System Service in this new list and double click on it 7. In the middle of this new window you'll see Startup Type, change it to Disabled and press Ok 8. Do a restart and you should be good to go I hope this saves others who buy this machine a bit of a headache, but I do not fault the builders for this as this is software bundled with the motherboard. Overall, great machine for the money! ... show more
