The capacity is good for two people. The temperatures go high in a short time. It is very good for cooking meats well or other things, like soup. I have not been able to adjust it for real low temperatures, meaning simmering. Even in the low position, liquid boils. I had to add more water to rice for it was drying and sticking before done. Maybe one more level would benefit the cooker. However, the price is amazing and I may just keep it for the items that need those temperatures. Cleaning is very easy. I’ve had several other mini pots before but this one is the best one I’ve owned. It’s large enough to cook two/three portions but I’ve mostly used it to make individual servings of noodles, soups, congee, and for Hot Pot. It has two settings, high and low. The high is great for boiling water or soup quickly and the low setting allows the food to simmer. It’s easy to wash and nothing sticks to it, even dried macaroni and cheese from the night before. Pros: Love how easy this is to use and made a delicious hot pot! Incredibly easy to wash (by hand only!) too. The lid and removable power cord makes it easy to store in the fridge to heat up the next day. Cons: 1.5L is on the small side or smaller than i anticipated, id say its good for 1 person or one person and a child. Definitely not two grown hungry adults. It heats up really fast which is a big plus although i wish there was a “simmer” setting because “I” setting is still a low boil and if you put it in between the I and II it keeps the food warm but hot hot. The other downside is that I wish the cord was longer or came with longer cord options. ... show more

I got this pot after much consideration and reading the positive reviews. I was not disappointed in fact I would say that it was way better than I expected. I was concerned it would be too small for my needs but it's actually quite big. I have been using an electric burner on top of my counter as I have no stove but it took forever for the water to boil and the plates just didn't seem to get all that hot. With this cute little pot the water boils very quickly, food cooks evenly and quickly. The non-stick coating works amazingly well. It's easy to clean and lightweight. It has three heat levels which is fine for my needs. I've cooked eggs, chili, pasta, corned beef hash all came out fantastic. I love this little pot and I would get other equipment by the same company or in a different style. I am very disappointed with the Hytric Electric Cooker with Handle. It stopped working completely after only three uses, which is extremely frustrating. Additionally, cleaning the cooker was a hassle because the top part is not removable, making it difficult to avoid getting the ports and knob wet. This design flaw makes the product impractical and inconvenient to use. Overall, I would not recommend this cooker due to its poor durability and cleaning difficulties. ... show more
