Day to day usage - sure! Why not! But I bought it to be able to cook something when the power goes out, too. I live in hurricane country, and that requires some special equipment if you want to eat something warm and comforting because it revives you. I use a power station to power some of my Dash appliances and can cook a meal for one person at a time, including waffles by pugging it into the fancy battery. I am the only egg eater in the house, so why dirty a large skillet? I use my Dash griddle instead! And hash browns in a waffle maker to go with it are one enormous treat I don’t intend to do without! Ditto for waffled stuffing that is so crisp and delicious you will become addicted to the stuff! This mini 4-inch waffle maker is a fantastic addition to my kitchen! It makes great tasting waffles with even cooking and great browning of the waffles. The quality build is impressive—it feels sturdy and reliable despite its compact size. Although the plates are not removable, they are easy to wipe down, making cleanup quick and hassle-free. The waffles also do not stick to it when cooking, which is a huge plus for such a small appliance.     • No on/off switch; easy to burn your hand if you touch it

This device has no on/off switch so you must unplug it when you are not using it. Basically, the whole unit gets hot so you should wait until it cools off before trying to move it. You can place it on a plate when you use it, then carry the plate to move the device, then wait for the device to cool before putting it away. I would say it takes roughly 4-5mins to make a waffle, so it is only good for a single person, in my opinion. I use it on my desk while I work at the computer...every 4-5 mins or so the waffle is ready...so I eat, then work, then eat, then work...this is my cycle for eating 4-5 waffles for lunch. For me, it is great - great price, gets the job done. I wish it made a square waffle, which is easier to eat. ... show more

I can whip up both sweet and savory waffles, and there are so many health-conscious recipes out there that work perfectly with it. • Easy to Use: Plug it in, wait a few minutes, and it’s good to go. • so many options: I’ve tried making savory potato waffles for dinner, I even made delicious arepas colombianas with cheese! It’s amazing how much you can do with it once you start experimenting. • The waffles come out perfect every time—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. The heat distribution is really spot on. • Cute Design: I love how this waffle maker looks! It comes in so many different colors, so it’s easy to find one that matches your kitchen. Plus, it’s tiny and doesn’t take up much space at all, which is great for small kitchens. • compact: I can tuck it away easily. This is such a great little waffle iron! I am on a Keto diet & there are several recipes I can make with this appliance. It's fast, easy to clean and works well. I like my grilled items to be a little dark, so after the "Ready" light turns off, I leave the contents in 30-60 seconds longer. But the heating is consistent, so this process works for me.
