My cavalier king charles spaniels ears get long and they get tangled upwith little matted pieces of hair. I used to have to cut them out, but this stuff allows me to comb them out now. Great stuff!

This spray is prohibitively perfumed for me. Certain scented candles and perfumes can give me a headache and this spray almost crosses into that category. If I went to a salon and a stylist used something that smelled like this I would have to wash my hair as soon as I got home. I just brought home an Airedale puppy, so I was looking for something to help with brushing that I could use regularly that wouldn't also cause build-up. Initially it was between this and The Stuff, but I bought this based on some general internet research, the positive reviews, and the ability to use it on a dry coat. I've not used it as I had anticipated though, because the scent is way too strong when I spray it. For what it's worth, it doesn't seem to be too heavy on his coat and it seems like it may help his coat feel a little softer which is nice. The smell does dissipate after the initial spray, but overall it is still just too unpleasant for me to buy again. I'll probably only use it until I can't stand the smell anymore or I feel like I've used enough to justify spending the money on it. ... show more

My Persian cat and I love our regular groomer! When she was going out of town for a while and would miss some of our weekly brush outs, she eased my nerves by recommending this spray that she uses. It’s the absolute safest for use with cats…which she knows is extremely important to me. Nice, light, fresh scent too…works out the tangles like they aren’t even there.
