Not much to say about a very good 40 volt chainsaw. Worked great for me with minor assembly right out of box. Bar and chain on saw as shipped. Removed bar and oiled chain reassembled after looking everything over. All was good. Charged battery about 2 hours. Next day cut up a bunch of 6 and 8 inch dead elm tree. Saw worked great, ran it about two hours including moving wood and brush around. Love this saw already. Worked as good as my small gas saw with less hassle starting. I have cut wood for over fifty years with three larger gas saws and this one is a keeper. I have had rotator cuff surgery right side. ... show more

Husqvarna cuts well and quietly. It's light weight and easy to handle. Need to refill oil approximately after each session of one-one and a half battery time. The battery lasts me about 2 hours including stopping to move limbs, toss wood blocks and move around. It can cut through pretty large sized trunks without any problem. Get an extra battery if you plan on cutting for any longer length of time. It's not as powerful as a gas powered but does the job intended. Warning light goes on when battery is low or when chain brake is on. The chain tightens easily without tools by the adjustment knobs on the side. Read your instructions carefully. With the "Husqvarna" name, I thought I would love this saw. I had an 80 volt saw before, but the chain tensioner stripped out... This saw has a slower chain speed and often stalls when I'm cutting logs bigger than 10 inch diameter. (It does restart after releasing the trigger) The charger takes forever to recharge. It is adequate for use as long as you dont use it on 10 plus inch cuts. The model I was sent did not have the tool free tension adjustment. ... show more

Apparently something had slipped off at some point. Once we figured that out, this little thing is a CHAMP! No longer disappointed!! First, I will say it's cuts like a hot knife through butter. It's easy to use and handles very well (and I'm a woman). My gripe, the chain keeps falling off. In the little over 2 hours that I used it, the chain came off twice. Caught it the third time before it came off. To put it back on requires a slight disassembly/reassembly. Not very efficient when you're trying to get work done. 😕 ... show more
