I've been cutting up a 22" red oak that was blown over in my yard during Helene using this saw, and it hasn't missed a beat. It's super easy to start, it has plenty of power (the tree is up off the ground, so I've been boring every cut), the chain stays sharp and stays on the bar, which is something I've heard about these. This is all the saw most people will need, and if you take care of it, it should be the last one you need for a long time. I guess I need to use this for a couple years to see how it really works, but the first use was great. Easy to start and cuts well. In hindsight it's probably bigger than I need for my 5 acre yard. I purchased this saw without fully reading the Amazon return policy for chainsaws. Shame on me. The saw ran great but the chain oiler was not working. I didn't discover this fact until I had made four cuts on a log that I was working on. The chain seized up because it overheated. I then noticed there was oil leaking out of the bottom of the saw. My first thought was to return the saw and get a new one and that's when I discovered that the saw was unreturnable. I contacted Husqvarna through their website but never heard back from them. I am now working through a local dealer to repair the saw. Had I known about the Amazon no return policy on the saw, I would have purchased the saw from a local dealer to begin with.
