This 16 inch chainsaw is ideal for projects such as limbing, pruning and tree cutting. This cordless chainsaw features a fuel pump and combined choke/stop control to allow for easier starting and to reduce the risk of engine flooding. It also features a simple tensioning system for quick adjustments and an inertia- activated chain brake that reduces the likelihood of injury due to kickback. For easy handling, this gas powered chainsaw uses LowVib technology to reduce vibration levels, lessening operator fatigue. The Husqvarna chainsaw is equipped with Air Injection, a centrifugal air cleaning system, that removes larger dust and debris particles before they reach the air filter, improving engine life and reducing air filter cleanings. An efficient 2-HP X-Torq engine uses Husqvarna 2-stroke lubricant with a 50:1 oil tank volume (0.549 US pint or 0.26 L tank volume). Each chainsaw Husqvarna creates comes with an extended warranty on pre-mixed fuel: extend your warranty from 2 years to 5 years by purchasing 96 fluid ounces of fuel at the time of your purchase of select handheld products.

Just spent an afternoon cutting up a couple of sizable oak trees, courtesy of Hurrican Milton. Nice for cutting into fire wood size. Thrifty on fuel. Easy starting. The people who review it as hard starting may not have taken off the shipping port cover on the muffler. I notice the instructions weren't very clear on that but....... it has to breath. I would highly recommend the Husky 130. Comparatively light but still a beast and has a 5 year warranty to boot. This is my 4th Husky to compare to my others. ... show more

This chain saw is just the right size for most home/firewood jobs. Small, but plenty of power. Filled it up with bar oil and gas mix, went right to work.

It’s an awesome piece of machinery. Very light and easy to use. Turns on easily. Only problem I had was the carburetor screws getting loose and effecting the throttle or cutting off. I had to order a special screw driver and almost after every use I need to adjust them

I have yet to use it but I’m sure it will cut down these small pines in our yard without a problem. I like battery power tools but, gas last longer and probably more horse power. Every man should have a chainsaw. The price was great I couldn’t resist.

    • Doesn't come with "bar oil"
This saw isn't usable out of the box, which is just annoying. It comes with the fuel oil additive (2.6 oz of 2-cycle oil to be mixed with 1 gallon of gasoline), but there's a second reservoir cap for "bar oil" on the saw itself, which is bone dry inside. The package didn't include this oil. Was it supposed to? There's no mention of it on the Quick Start guide except for step 2 of a Cold Start: "Add bar oil to oil tank". So WTF!! So I'll have to go to Home Depot and buy some generic "bar oil" (assuming they even sell this) and HOPE it's the right kind for this particular saw... UPDATE: after checking online there seems to be many different brands of 'bar oil" available at Home Depot ranging from $8 to $24. Hopefully it doesn't matter which kind I buy. Here's why I'm giving this a 1-star review: I'm guessing 90% of the customers/buyers of this saw just assumed the saw came pre-loaded with this oil. If it's running without this oil, it could potentially damage the chain, the saw itself, the engine - there's just no excuse for this. Customer service is only available during certain hours M-F and I haven't been able to get anyone on the phone. ... show more

This husky is relatively light and even tho it's not a professional line husky it does keep up or perform better then some of its competitors brands. Plenty of power and starts right up.
