This was a pricey piece of kit and I treated myself to it as a Xmas/Birthday gift. I've been using it for 3 months. To start, you have to calibrate. This is not one of those 5k chairs you can have a sit in at Costco when they have an event on. And it's not a real massage at 80 and upwards for an hour. However..... it's a really nice foot and leg massager. It's well made with good, solid construction materials. There are plenty of options for you to select the kind of pressure you like (tapping, squeezing, hard, soft, rolling). You can have it heated. You can even switch mid-massage (the cycle is about 20 minutes). It took me a week or two to get used to how firm the foot massage part is, even on the gentlest settings. But I can feel my muscles relaxing now when it starts. So, I highly recommend it. I tried and returned a cheaper one. This is pricier than others which purport to do the same thing. The media could not be loaded. This massager is awesome! The pressure is perfect on the calves and feet, without feeling claustrophobic because of the openness in the front. You don't feel stuck in one spot using it, but it feels so good that you don't want to get up either. The settings are great depending on the type of massage you need, making it a good way to relax at the end of the day. It's not super compact but sturdy so you aren't having to interrupt the cycle by having to move or adjust. The controls are really easy to work with and customize the pressure and type you want. And the blue is pretty cool and unique, setting it apart from basic foot massagers that blend in. This model definitely stands out and 10/10 would recommend. ... show more

I purchased this foot & calf massager to replace the former one we owned from Brookstone as my athletes wore it out! I have two athletes in my house that use this massager on a regular basis year-round and they LOVE IT!!! I honestly think that this unit is actually better than the former, more-expensive one we owned. If you are looking for the perfect gift, you really cannot beat this for the price! Hello all, I’m in the medical field so I spend lots of time on my feet. Instead of having to wait and go for a foot massage appt, I chose to order a massager! I was so eager to receive it, however I am very displeased with its performance. The calf area hurts and rubs from knee to ankle direction. Massaging shld always go in the direction of the heart, so it shld be rubbing upward. Also the foot roller doesn’t apply enough pressure twd the heel, it’s as if the roller is not high enough. This is a complete waste of my hard earned $240! Also why do I need to pay $75 to return an item that’s unsatisfactory! I’m so very displeased with this Reflex 5 Human Touch! Not only is it displeasing to my feet, my calfs are really sore so I stopped using it all together! I want ALL OF MY MONEY BACK!! ... show more

Absolutely loved this piece of equipment but after just under 2 short years it quit working. When I turn it on it smells like the motor has some sort of electrical issue and gives off that burning smell and does nothing. I took really good care of the machine so I’m disappointed with the lifespan of it. Don’t think I would buy another one after reading some of the same types of reviews and the experience I have had with mine. For the price it seems like it should definitely have a lot longer span than what mine had. ... show more

The Human touch Sol Foot and Calf massager does a pretty good job on feet and calves. For me there are many things that could be im proved. This thing is heavy and it only has two very thin finger grips to pick it up. There should be cut outs on both sides so you entire hand could fit in to pick it up. The calf massager did very little for me because my legs are too thin. I fixed this by purchasing a 1/2 inch foam yoga mat and cutting it to fit inside both of the leg channels. Works good now nice and tight . You would think that the company would offer a foam sleeve for different thicknesses of peoples legs. The calf massage is very good if you have restless leg syndrome. I use it before going to bed and it seems to take care of it pretty well. The foam inserts also fix another issue that other reviewers have complained about and that is the excessive pressure to your feet. The foot has very little muscle tissue and this machine can be very painful if you do not position your feet exactly in the right spot. The foam fixes that perfectly. The on off switch is way down at the bottom which you can barely reach when you have your feet in the machine and you cannot see it so you have to feel around for it. Pretty stupid design. There is 4 rubber foot pads on the bottom that grip my carpet so that I cannot slide it around . I am going to try covering them with packing tape. The vibration mode for me is useless do not feel anything when it's on. Even with all of these issues the machine does a nice job of relaxing tired feet and legs. If you have restless leg syndrome give this machine a try. I am happy to have it when I need it. ... show more
