My grandsons love these. Have Been using them for two weeks. The first day they were riding on our wet driveway and they started to malfunction. My husband dried them out and recalibrated them and they have been working great. So definitely no water at all.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my child. The hoverboard was used TWICE and fully charged each time before use. Now after being plugged in to charge after second use, hoverboard does not even power on. HIGHLY disappointed!! Seller will not send a replacement, refund only after I send it back via UPS. My daughter has been hounding me for a hover board. I thought this was a great compromise because the seat attachment gives it a go cart feel. My daughter loves it. The storage is pretty simple in a closet and the seat assembly was simple.

The battery only lasts for an hour and that hour goes by really fast when your kid is having this much fun! Also, the hover board beeps a lot and the instructions aren’t very clear as to why it would beep. Calibrating is kind of difficult too.
