I purchased this topper specifically to bring along when we drive to a vacation rental where my kid will be sleeping on a sofa bed. We all know sofa bed mattresses are mini torture devices. I’ve never met one I liked. I also purchased a vacuum compression storage bag to roll this topper up into to make packing it along easy and space-saving. The topper fluffed up to its full 2” once I removed it from the shipping packaging. I like that it has the straps on the corners should I want to secure it to the bottom mattress. I bought this for my camper because those mattress pads are a joke, after a few nights of basically sleeping on plywood I decided I couldn't take it anymore and bought this. I took it out and probably within an hour it was fluffed all the way, had no smell at all and it's soooooooo insanely soft, I'm worried it might be too much lol I like soft but this thing is crazy soft. My back problems have improved but it is hot. It also slides around on the mattress and the corner things are difficult to use. I bought this as a stop gap for buying a whole new mattress and it has enforced the idea that we just need a whole new mattress.
