    • It's oil. Honda demands it. So I use it.
I'll give 4-Stars because my 2005 CRV is happy to have new oil. However, this fearmongering by Honda that we have to use their oil only is getting absurd. Their price is about $2-3 more than other oils mechanics claim work just as well (make sure it states for Hondas) I've ordered twice from Amazon now and am about to do the 3-drain 3-fill process. In all honesty, the first time I changed the fluid I only did it once and my transmission was so much better! No judders or hard shifts and I could cycle the gears some. But, after this last time (1st of the three) the transmission is a little rough when it down-shiftd into 2nd or 1st and the gear-lever binds in 2nd and cannot get back to Drive without some wranglilng.
