Description

The requirement for higher performance transmissions lubricants has increased considerably in recent years due to the introduction of new and sophisticated transmission systems. The transmission fluid serves as a hydraulic fluid, a heat transfer fluid and lubricating fluid. Over time, varnish and sticky residue (station) can form inhibiting the performance of the fluid. Our high performance ester formula is a unique lubricity and cleaning agent, that tenaciously attaches itself to all metal parts that it comes in contact with inside the transmission. The strong polarity pulls deposits off the metal surfaces and puts them back into solution. The metal in a transmission is nearly always positively charged while Shift Restore is negatively charged. Attachment of a thin layer of Shift Restore to all metals is natural and not dependent upon temperature, pressure or anything else. An added benefit is a reduction in temperature due to less friction on the critical moving parts.

I’m So So So happy! I put 5 ounces of shift restore in my F1 transmission, and within 30 miles, all of my shifts were smooth and the grinding between shifts are completely gone. Shifting perfect! The car drives like a brand new vehicle. I was hesitant to try this product, so I reached out to the manufacture and told them that I had a Ferrari with an F1 transmission (basically a manual gearbox with a paddle shift mechanism). It had sat for awhile, and the clutch plates had developed an issue, and I wanted to make sure that this product would not cause any damage to the brass synchros or any other internals of the transmission. I received a quick reply from Logan who reassured me that Shift Restore would have no issues with my application. RESULTS: I couldn’t be happier! The previous owner sold me a lemon with transmission full of antifreeze. It had been sitting in the gearbox for who knows how long (due to failed heat exchanger). The shift restore freed up the rusty clutch plates and got everything working smoothly again. When I would wind up the car and shift at high RPM's the clutch would give me a little trouble shifting gears, but now all the shifts are crisp and smooth. I am truly impressed and very grateful. At my age and all the many additives I have used over the years, this stuff works as never before expected. The improvement is very noticeable in just a few miles after adding to trans. In fact if it improves the old trans this much I am thinking of drinking a few oz myself, (joke)

07 dodge ram mega cab. Wasn't always shifting to OD. I believe I was having low line pressure to OD. This stuff fixed it within 20 miles. Great for worn out transmissions

First of all this stuff is very very watery compared to normal trans fluid I had to extract 1 quart out to add this so I didn’t ever fill my trans I noticed smoother shifts within the first 20 miles after adding it so far I am very happy with the product and hope it last for me I’ve always used hot shots fuel additive and been happy with it ... show more
