  • This stuff actually works.
Size: 24 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I was skeptical because I have used so many products in the past that have claimed to fix problems and they did not. This stuff actually works good. My 25 year old car refused to shift into high gear so I decided to try this stuff. I used a pump and sucked out some transmission fluid, so when I added the Lucas I would not over fill the transmission. The transmission started to work better right away, but it does say to give it a couple hundred miles to work fully. The more I drive it the better it gets but this is just prolonging the inevitable. If you have a newer car and you have the money to fix your transmission then don't go this route. But if you have an older car like mine that isn't worth a $3,000 to $5,000 rebuild, then use the Lucas transmission fix. I don't know how long this stuff will prolong the life of my transmission but I will update this review with any changes. ... show more

  • Worked on my 04 odyssey
Size: 24 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
My 2004 Honda odyssey trans started whining and slipping through all gears. Did a 3 drain and fill of trans fluid. After first two drains, I thought I totally screwed up trans. Slipped and whined to point I was ready to sell with bad trans cheap. Added this treatment after 3rd drain and after driving 25 miles, the trans started shifting through all gears. I’m impressed. It made a big difference to the shifting. I bought this van new and now it has 307,000 miles. My family wants it gone but it can’t let it go. I’ll keep driving until trans finally quits shifting. ... show more

  • A Lifesaver for My Old Chevy Pickup!
Size: 24 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I recently had the pleasure of using Lucas Oil 10009 Transmission Fix in my beloved 1970 Chevy C10 pickup, equipped with the trusty TH400 transmission. Let me tell you, this product is nothing short of miraculous. My '70 C10 has been through its fair share of miles, and the transmission was starting to show signs of wear and tear. Shifts were becoming less smooth, and I was getting concerned about the longevity of my faithful TH400. That's when I decided to give Lucas Oil 10009 a try, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This transmission fix worked wonders. Almost immediately, I noticed a significant improvement in shift quality. The gears engaged smoothly, and the overall performance of the transmission seemed to have been revitalized. It's like my 1970 Chevy C10 found a new lease on life. What impressed me most was the ease of use. Pouring the Lucas Oil 10009 into the transmission was a breeze, and the results were quick and noticeable. It's evident that this product is engineered with precision and a deep understanding of transmission needs. Now, my '70 C10 rides like a dream again, thanks to Lucas Oil 10009 Transmission Fix. It's not just a product; it's a lifesaver for aging transmissions. If you're experiencing similar issues with your classic truck or just want to give your transmission a boost, I wholeheartedly recommend Lucas Oil 10009. Five stars all the way! ... show more

  • Worked for this skeptical pilot - now with update 2 years later
Size: 24 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
***Update 2 years later*** Pathfinder was sold a few months ago, the transmission would noticeably for a second or two around 65-70mph once every few weeks. Keep in mind, this is a transmission that was slipping every 30 seconds before application. No leaks. Even more miraculous, my 126k mile 1983 Volvo 240 DL automatic was shuddering/slipping between 1st and 2nd 80% of shifts. It was fine in every other gear. The transmission had been flushed and refilled with full synthetic Royal Purple Type F tranny fluid 2,000 miles before this got really bad. (yes it took type F originally) Overfilling the fluid level helped a little bit, but was not a solution. I was just about to replace it with a salvage unit, when I decided to give Lucas another try. I vacuumed up the excess and 24 ounces of fluid through the filler tube before adding with a MityVac. I let the bottle sit in near boiling water for 30 minutes and it was still a chore squeezing it out at a steady rate. Didn't notice anything for 3 days over the course of 40 miles, but on day 4 the transmission shifts as good as new! **Original review** Bottom line up front: Fixed slipping in 3 gears within 15minutes of application. 1999 Pathfinder with 13k miles on rebuilt tranny. 1000 miles ago started to notice a little slip up from 1st to 2nd. I use it for offroad fishing trips as well as towing 1500lb pop-up camper. Commonly slipped at 27mph, 37mph, and 67mph. I test the limits of helicopters for a living, so I'm very tuned to changes in rpm and speed. I drained 24 ounces of tranny fluid, which was still quite clean looking. Tip: You MUST warm up this bottle like baby formula in the hottest water possible below boiling. Take your time. Otherwise you might get cramps squeezing this ruby red goop into that filler neck. I cycled every gear in front of my house, let it warm up a bit, and drove at idle speed out to a nearby country road. In the first 15 minutes I accelerated from zero to 60 as gradually as possible over and over. Had a total of 3 slips, instead of the usual 1 every 30seconds.Drove the Pathfinder this morning to work, good as new. ... show more

  • Lucas all does what it says it’s going to do
Size: 24 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I love this whole this conditioner you put it in the transmission. You can put it in the engine and it will shift easier run quieter longer and if you do it when you first get your car, brand new and you take care of changing the oil and that you can put 45 600,000 miles on that transmission and it will still go when you’re ready to go, I’m telling you the truth transmission conditioner, and stop Leak. It’s unbelievable. ... show more
