This is a great air purifier for a small room. I bought this for my daughters room. She has asthma and allergies and I thought it would be great to help with air quality in her room. We do have animals as well and her room always seems to feel fresh! *Nice clean air feel when I walk in to her room * Doubles as a noise machine. I was able to get rid of her fan. *Small, doesn't take up much space *Nice light blue light also doubles as a soft night light. *Has to settings *Really easy to assemble.     • Great for musky old homes and pets
I like this purifier so much I've bought 3 now. The price is right, and they do exactly what they're supposed to. I live in a 100-year-old house and naturally it comes with a variety of "interesting" odors. For the most part it's not a big deal, but there are problem areas. I also have a cat and while he's remarkably clean, the litter box always smells. I like this air purifier because it's small, portable, and great for focusing on one room or area (which is why I purchased 3). Right now I have one tucked in my son's room near his diaper pail, one tucked in our bathroom and near the cat box, and one in my office. For that last one, I'm able to pick it up and move it if I need it in another area, say in the living room while hanging out with friends and family. While it'd be nice to purchase a larger HEPA air purifier, for the same price as 1 of those I was able to buy 3 of these and honestly, these work great. Have had the first one for almost a year now and it still runs like an absolute champ. ... show more

    • Works well! Great for when you just need a small and simple air purifier!
So far so good! I bought this as a personal air purifier for my dorm room, but have been using it in my bedroom for the time being. It seems to help and work well, I have less allergies at night and there is much less dust floating around in the air. The unit looks pretty neat, nice and simple, but with enough flair to keep it interesting. The LED lights are a slight bright for night-time, but putting something small over the button cuts the light in half, and is much better when dark. Does not really bug me, but i feel i should mention it. Build quality is good, plastic, but not overly cheap, its sturdier than some more expensive air purifiers I have used and seen. The fan seems like it should last for a while, its a very "digital" sounding fan, potentially meaning magnetic, meaning longer life. However, there is a caveat with that, it could potentially be quieter, and "smoother" sounding, but I do not find it loud at all. It sounds like any other fan when on high, and you only notice the slight "digital" sound when it first turns on, and only some when on low. Again, not a deal breaker, at all, just something to mention. Overall it seems to really help. I only took a star off for one main reason, i have not had this unit for long, so i cnat really attest to how well it does, or how long it will last. However, i will update accordingly! ... show more

    • Perfect for Small Spaces
I began using this in my home office in March 2020 and I love it! I have to share my home office with my cat's litterbox which leads to dust and urine/poop odors. This little air purifier works wonders. My office is roughly 10x12 so its not a very large space and I let the purifier run 24/7. The purifier lasted about a month and a half before the filter light went on. I let it run for another month before I pulled it out and replaced it. I never noticed a decrease in the air quality. With COVID I've been spending a ton of time in my home office everyday and haven't had an issue with dust or odors since I bought this. I keep it on the highest setting and I don't find the noise of the fan to be distracting, it's a soft white noise. The light on the top is rather bright and I could see this bothering someone looking to use this in their bedroom. ... show more

    • Works well but there are issues...
This is a very effective air filtration unit, but...it's loud - but you can get used to that. I run a fan when I sleep, I like the white noise, but this is more mechanical, like something inside is hitting or rubbing something else. But I have learned to live with all of that; I CAN'T, however, live with this machine telling me I have to buy a new filter and it hasn't even run a full month! And it's not like my house is filthy! We run an air filtration/ozone machine downstairs and buy the 3M allergy furnace filters and keep them clean - I live with an asthmatic. Just for giggles I took the filter out in the garage and hit it with my air compressor - NOTHING CAME OUT! No dust or anything! So it becomes clear that I would go broke having to buy a new filter every less-than-one-month. I didn't check to see how much they were, (I would assume they only come from this company) but I think I will use my time to find a new air filtration machine for my bedroom instead because this one is definitely getting returned! I have a Hamilton Beach in my office at work and it runs really well and six months on still using the original filter - maybe one of those for my bedroom too!     • Works well so far.
I purchased this to keep at my desk at work. My office is very dusty and everyone coughs. After one week of use I do feel like it has made a difference. People have commented that the air got better. I have only run it on the quiet setting, and this has been effective. The quiet setting is very quiet, almost like it isn't even on. The normal setting isn't that loud either, more like a gentle whoosh sound. Overall this has been a good purchase and I hope it lasts. Most things that are inexpensive are junk, but the quality of this was better than expected. Thank you Amazon for offering an affordable product that actually works! ... show more
