I ordered a full/queen of this same type and unfortunately, it kept the heat in because it was too large for my bed and did not allow for any heat to escape. This one is perfect! I haven't woken up sweating at all. It is super soft and light but does keep you warm without overdoing it.

Im being prompted to score how "lightweight" this blanket is. I scored the 3 stars on that because I don't know what to say because I wanted the weight.. anyway it's thick and a good weight. I ordered pink twin size. I understand different lightning makes a difference in color but this pink is quite dull like a ballerina pink. Doesn't match my daughter's bubblegum pink sheets but doesn't look awful. My daughters love it but I had expected it to be a little softer on the pink side. The sherpa side is very soft though. Haven't washed it yet so I can't speak to that. My only real complaint was three shipping. I ordered a similar blanket one well prior and Amazon lost my package and refunded me (I would rather them replace it but thet didn't ask.) Then I ordered this one from a totally different seller (both prime) and THIS package got delayed and finally showed up about a week later. I blame Amazon for this and found it strange that it was only the blankets that had trouble shipping. I ordered about 20 other items during that time with no issues. So I don't fault the seller. heavier than anticipated. Of course, nights are getting cooler now, so don't mind, though I had hoped for a mid weight warmer weather blanket for occasional cool nights. As some other reviewers mentioned, there is a bit of an odor that went away after washing. The color (sage green) is lovely, and the quilting pattern on the top layer very attractive.
