I’ve been searching for such a blanket in a while. It usually looks plus online but when it arrives or even when you wash it, it loses its plushness. Not with this though. This is PLUSH, comfortable, warm yet breathable, perfect size, no shedding, no itching, and a great price!

*Update 2: Three years later and I own two of these fleecy versions and four of the regular. My friend mentioned in this review gifted them to six people in her family for that same Christmas. They all loved it. All of them have held their color perfectly and are as soft as always, even after three years of washing. AND - as if by a miracle of Christmas Magic - they added CHRISTMAS-Y/WINTRY PATTERNS. I have a snowflake printed, red fleece-lined one that I swear, I must've stolen from Santa's very own bed (good thing the elves can make him more, huh?). You really should buy this blanket. Or buy six. Your call. But I vote for six.* *Almost a year later, and I am a blanket evangelist. I stand by everything I've said in this original review. I then ordered him a light blue one (as an early Christmas gift, to keep him warm while he waits for Santa), which is a good thing because the second night he told her, I'm just gonna borrow your blanket for one more night, okay Grandma? And how could she say no to that? So he was delighted when the next day his own blanket arrived in his very favorite color. Although he did make a point of telling me he likes green, too. So a green one would be okay. You will feel like you're sleeping in Santa's bed with this thing. It belongs in the North Pole. It makes me believe in Santa and the magic of Christmas, because really there is no other possible explanation for anything so cozy and soft and perfect. I want a red one. And a purple one. Did I mention that all of this has transpired in under a month? And I've got two more friends who want one. SEE? i dOnt nOrMaLLy wRiTe rEviEws, but for this blanket, I need to share my thoughts. This is my second purchase of this magnificent quality sherpa Bedsure blanket, and it is unlike any other blanket in my house. It is somehow light/fluffy AND weighted??, and it feels like being in a warm bath but without the water. Just get the blanket. Trust. I have it in the King size on my Queen size bed so that I have ample blanket to (not) share with my fiancé. It’s truly perfect for like 9 months of the year, but I find it too warm for over-top-of-comforter bed use during the summer. Not a complaint at ALL, and if anything it speaks to how well this blanket does what it’s supposed to do. I recently purchased the twin size for my couch, and my dog decided that the couch blanket is now HER blanket and gets sassy with me if I’m using it. You will likely find yourself purchasing multiple of this blanket, but at this very reasonable price, don’t feel too bad about it. ... show more

I love this blanket! It's a beautiful rich color and extremely soft on both sides. Even though it is a twin, it covers the entire top surface of my queen size bed. I cover up with it at night while I am sleeping, but I do think I want something a little bigger becausemy dog wants to cover up with it too. I'm going to look at getting a full or queen size in the exact same item and color. I'll still keep the twin on hand to use on the couch, or when family comes to visit. I have not washed the blanket yet, so I can't speak to that. I would highly recommend this if you like something cozy and warm to sleep with. These have kept us alive and comfortable through the winter during insulation and heating issues. It all started with 1 blanket which immediately became 2 then 4 and will now be 6. These blankets are the coziest, softest blankets I've ever experienced. The price is more than worth it. The colors are rich and deep. I can't find a single thing to complain about. I've decided all beds need two of these plus the living room because couch! Our cat is in love too. We currently have navy, red, purple, and cream. I'm eyeing lilac & another cream. This is a great blanket. Very warm and soft! It does shed a bit, so I’d suggest washing it separately, but that’s my only complaint. It’s the perfect size as well. I was very surprised how how warm it was! Would purchase again!
