I don't write many product reviews - typically only the very good or very bad ones - this is a very high quality product that I would personally recommend to anyone wanting a chaise lounge. Highlights: * The frame is a high quality cast aluminum - it should last a lifetime (unlike my previous lounges that had fabric tops that only lasted 8 years. * It looks nice, moves around well with the wheels, and the variety of back positions cover all the possible uses. * The cushions are relatively thick and comfortable - you do not feel the frame underneath them - I bought and assembled two of them - for me they were easy to put together but it takes about an hour because some of the bolts are tricky to get in the correct position. I wanted to make sure I reported to this comment thread that the chaise was easy to assemble, but you really need to use your own tools. The little screw driver and wrench things provided are basically useless. Use your own screwdriver (either flathead or Phillips), wrenches (a 5/16 and a 9/16), and a hammer or mallet to tap the plastic bolt/nut covers on snuggly. The nuts, bolts and washers provided are good quality and the chaise pieces are well-crafted for fit. The assembly instructions are pretty good, pictorial. I’m a 71-year old woman, and I put this together myself in about an hour? Maybe less. The cushion is pretty firm, which is why I gave the “comfort” question 4 stars, but I don’t plan to sleep on it, and I like the look of the cushion — very tailored and it’s well-made. This same chaise is available on other sites, but the pricing here was the best I found, even with a delivery charge. (Yes, I am a Prime member, but this item has a delivery charge.) All in all, I love the chaise, and I highly recommend it! ... show more

    • The Frame is Sturdy, Wheels are great, and its Looks Nice. Assembly instructions are horrible.
It took me about two hours to put together the first one and about an hour to put together the second one. But that was working casually, not with intent to assemble as quickly as possible. Assembly instructions are in fact horrible. A few important points. First, ignore the picture other than for reference for which bolts, washers, nuts to use on the arms and the seat. Second, start putting it together with axle (called connecting bar) arms , and wheels first. Third, add the back seat and the lever (seat angle adjustment lever). Fourth, flip it over and install the long seat (its the only tricky part, so be patient with lining up the holes). Fifth, tighten all the nuts and pound the plastic nut covers over the nuts. And finally, flip it over, sit down, and relax. Have fun. ... show more

I spend several hours researching pool chairs. I decided to go with these chairs and I am glad i did. Very sturdy and comfortable! The cushions are well made, very stylish and seems to be holding up very well. The chair is also very easy to move around. Absolutely love the red cushions contrast with the metal frame. The assembly is not as easy like mostly of the reviews mentioned, but is not a deal breaker. The chairs are just what we wanted---attractive, cushiony, sturdy, easy to move on wheels. Assembly is not as easy as it could be---but use BOTH the detailed instructions listed in comments and the instructions included with the chairs. In addition, in most cases, we think the hardware, unless specifically noted, all goes on the inside: i.e., the bolt goes in from the outside and the two washers and nut are on the inside. (Seems right to us.) Also recommend a big Phillips and a big slot screwdriver, and an adjustable wrench. Wife also contributed a rubber mallet for any resistant nut covers. First chair took 90 minutes from start to finish, second one took 35 minutes. And we are not that handy and both over 70. ... show more

The chair feels sturdy as all get-out. The instructions were kind of crappy, but I figured it out. I've had a decent amount of experience assembling (and disassembling) things though - I could imagine someone with less experience having some difficulties. The only tool that was missing was something to tighten the wheel bolts, but they probably don't need to be that tight anyway. The chair is pretty comfortable, the cushion is nice. It is a lot of money for a chair, but I feel like the components are good quality, I'm pretty sure the nuts and bolts were good quality stainless steel, and that thing would probably last 100 years as long as it's not abused. The only part of the construction of the chair I didn't like was the back of the chair having threads right into the aluminum instead of a bolt, but as long as it stays together I'm good. ... show more
