I was told to expect it mid January. Actual date it arrived was December 12 with lousy tracking to an area with porch thieves. Big box undamaged but the box containing the massager was damaged. So I tried it out to be sure the item was OK. What I like is that the massage part is more gentle than the Snailax one where I worry that with my osteoporosis my bones will break. I do not like the operating buttons being awkwardly located. It is impossible to do anything with the controls after you sit or lay on it. Otherwise it is fine....so far. ... show more

I've actually bought 3 of these, one as a gift, one for myself that I broke by dropping something heavy on it (a couch leg when I moved furniture) and breaking the plastic guide inside, and this one. I bought a smaller unit of a different brand once and it almost caught on fire because of a bad cord and that company has had multiple issues with that and didn't want to hear about mine but I sent it to them anyway and told them no I didn't want a replacement or a coupon. I came back to this brand because it's solid (except when you drop couches on it, not the product's fault) and helps with that knot one gets in the "chicken wing" upper back area. This works as advertised. Lower back, upper back or all three. However it is day 2 and I cannot use it as my back is bruised. I am sensitive, so I guess it bruised me without me realizing. Someone hugged me today and I screamed! When my bruising subsides I will use it with a blanket over it. Must be removed when not in use, or you cannot sit in chair - the balls stick out. ... show more

This massager stops just as it's getting to your lower back it also stops just as it's reaching your neck I would say it only massages your middle and upper back but it does it well the heat is very light will not replace the heating pad I think I should have paid half of what I paid considering it doesn't rub your neck or lower back. ... show more

I like the back massage. It’s very easy to use. Just place on chair and press the buttons. Lower, upper or both massage and heat is good. The massage balls are hard and get painful after one or two sessions. The balls stick into the back when turned off and the pad should be removed from the chair for comfort. ... show more

Did not think it was what I wanted..hate where the control is located.. Wished it had covered more of my lower back,made my shoulder blades sore after a couple of uses,not using it now because of that.

I suffer from bad pain, just like many people. A friend of mine had one of these so I gave it a try and really enjoyed the massage. It hurts on your back at the beginning but does make it less tense.
