These shelves are lightweight, super easy to assemble, and strong/durable. The steel is noticeably thicker than the cheapie shelves you might find at your mega mart. I am using them to organize some equipment and they are rock solid. I have 80-100 lbs evenly distributed on each shelf and I see no flex. The shelves do not sway or wobble. It was really easy to assemble, the wood platforms might give out after some time but as long as you keep the unit inside you should be fine. feels a bit flimsy during assembly but it does turn out decent. pretty good bang for your buck

I used this to stack my fabric stashes on. I have to admit I shy away from anything I have to assemble myself because I'm not that could at figuring out how but my daughter who can put together practically anything, happened to be there when it came so she did it for me. She said it was a breeze and thinks I could have done it. I especially like the nice boards that came with it to put across the shelves which is why I picked that one out to buy.
