I really love the steel clamps because it’s just realistic to have it and it just makes sense. I used to have a similar product that have plastic ones, but you’re putting on so much weight so it cracks. This is very useful for anyone who doesn’t want to buy a whole rack, etc. It gets the job done and it’s portable so take it anywhere with you- if you want. There are also Velcro ‘clasps’ (Idk the word for it) that you wrap around your dumbbell if the handle is too small to fit so it makes it tighter and sturdier when you do clamp it. ... show more

Easy to use, and very well made! I really like that it has steel clamps that hold the dumbbells securely. I've used similar ones with plastic clamps and they've always ended up cracking. I can do many different exercises with it (squat, deadlift, row, bench press, curl, shoulder press, etc) It's great for saving space and money since there's no need to buy additional weight plates like other workout bars. Very solid and well made bar. Fits my dumbells great when using the enclosed pads. Very easy to change dumbells. Highly recommend over jayflex bar.
