It took about 4 hours to assemble. We did take our time because there are a lot of steps that can easily be done wrong. Some small details should have either been specified in the drawing notes or visible on the drawings but weren't. It turned out beautifully and was well worth the money! We recieved it on time and nothing was damaged! We were missing one screw for one of the door magnets but it will be just fine with only one until we receive the missing one in the mail. Due to a lack of assembly details, and as a women who works in the maintenance department of a welding/fab/machine shop with an additional 15 years of other (re)building, assembling, fixing and problem solving experience, here are my pre-assembly tips; This should be assembled by 2 people. Some steps are very difficult with only one set of hands. Remember you are screwing metal into pre drilled wood, the holes can be stripped very easily if you aren't careful. I recommend that this NOT be assembled by anyone who has LESS than ABOVE average assembling/building experience as well as basic blueprint reading skills. For the best results get some assistance from someone who that does. ... show more

I was a little worried ordering this but I'm so glad I did!!!!! No trouble with the packaging, nothing was damaged. It was pretty easy to put together just a little time consuming. Only gave 4 stars because there was no pre drilled holes for the actual fire place. I just used the brackets. Delivery time said a week and a half but only had to wait 3 days for it!!!     • The price for this unit which included an electric fireplace was a great deal.
There were a lot of pieces that you needed to assemble for this. You just need some patience and time. It was impressive the way this was packed. You also need to follow the steps carefully so that you do not have to go back and info something you did wrong. Overall, I am very happy with this TV stand. My 55 inch TV fitted perfectly on it with ample space on each end. ... show more

Really liked that there was a real instruction book, not just pictures. They sent plenty of pieces so I didn't have to worry about losing one. It was quite a challenge to put together, but they did recommend that it would be easier with 2 people and I was doing it by myself. Overall happy with my new furniture.     • Not worth the money or time to put together.
Do not order this. It’s very cheaply made, the locking bolts fall out as you move it to put it together. We had to leave one of the doors off after we put it together because the slim piece that the top door ‘hinge’ fits into split! We have it gorilla glued with a clamp to see if it wil even be able to hold the door in. There aren’t any holes stated in the prices to screw in the heater to the frame so you have to mark, then drill then screw it in. We only got 4 of the 6 because it was so difficult. I wish we hadn’t bought this. And now that it’s put together and in my living room I’m already counting the days until we can get something different. The two stars is for the color and stoke which fit my space perfectly. ... show more

Read a lot of the reviews about this stand all of them talked about how long it took to put together it does take about 3 to 4 hours to assemble. The only thing I saw wrong was some of the wood dowel pin holes where a little big just used a little more glue. Finish product is very sturdy put my 70 inch Vizio TV on it looks great we love it cant wait to use the heater this winter. Even came with extra parts thanks !!! ... show more

Beautiful piece and works perfectly! Super easy to assemble! I was able to do 90% of it myself and only needed my husband to hold a few pieces together while I screwed them in. Couldn’t be happier!
