As many other reviewers already pointed out: this is a very nice LOOKING product that is unfortunately not capable to deliver its promise. The maximal low temperature achievable in this “mini-fridge” is 40F in the ambient temperature of 68-70F. Even if the fridge remains closed for over 72 hrs! The temp scale goes down to 16 but it is NEVER ACHIEVABLE! This is clearly misleading. The manufacturer should change the settings to reflect reality and clearly spell out that max low temp will be in 40s not below 20! The product is nicely design and looks like reliable mini-fridge BUT IT IS NOT. It is a mediocre cooler at best. Do not recommend buying it. ... show more

I had the model before this one and wanted another after what 2years… So go back to the well as they say. It works and keeps things cool. What I miss is the option on the front to change the temperature up or down as you wanted to try and set it. All you have now is a cheaper version and it has only a switch in the back that says Hot or Cold.. So you don’t know how hot it’ll get nor how cold it can get. So you have to wait a while and open it to see if it’s actually working. I use cold about all the time and it keeps things mostly cold until you fill it up with a lot of items. I’m ok with it, not mad just not overly happy. Not a real waste of money but I wish they would find a way to bring the controls of Temperature back for us to decide. ... show more

    • Does Not Get Cold Enough
The Mini Fridge looks beautiful, nice size, nice front digital display, excellent for our bedroom for apple sauce, water, and small snacks. The only down side is that it doesn't get cold enough for us. But it's good enough for keeping the items we use somewhat cool. The coldest it got was 38 degrees after not opening the fridge door for a couple of days. Since we use the fridge every day the temperature stays between 40 and 45 degrees. At least it's not warm or hot. ... show more

For starters, most of the reviews on here are for a DIFFERENT PRODUCT. Looks like some kind of gym equipment. In fact, the brand I got wasn't even what is listed on the page, it's Nictemaw..... Here is the problem. The Homdox fridge has TWO coolers, but the Nictemaw only has one; the photos do not match the product. I've owned a few of these before, this uses thermoelectric cooling, in short it sends a DC current between two metal sheets and the back sheet draws heat from the front (which is the side that gets cold) and is removed via a heatsink and fan in the back. It's a very inefficient way to cool for the power-draw. (watt-per-watt, a standard vapor-refrigerant system is much more efficient) "Adjustable temperature" Yes.. in the sense you can have it set to cool or warm, no actual temperature adjust, you can't tell it how hot or cold you want it. Kind of sneaky wording there... First thing I noticed... this this is top heavy. that is, the legs aren't evenly spaced- the entire fridge wants to tip forward when you open the door. Could have been solved just by moving the front legs an inch or two forward.... Next, when I opened it I expected to see the Peltier cooling panels(plural) on the back, well I found -ONE- That's right, this 20L cooler uses the same single panel that are found on the small 10L ones. Which means this is at least 1/2 as efficient as the smaller fridges, it's basically having to cool double the volume with an underpowered cooler. This should have had two. (there are two exhaust vents, only one is being utilized) The door latch is finicky, it doesn't fully lock unless you press it tightly. I've had mine plugged in for a good 6 hours and while my old 10L fridge would have been nice and chilly inside by then, this is still just.. a little cooler (maybe 15F degrees below ambient) after 48 hours: the temps dropped from 80F (ambient room) to 50F. (as they list this in Celsius I'll convert the range difference, they claim it can cool 20-25C below ambient. the most I got was 16C difference, so I'm not even getting the cooling power they advertise) It is silent though, not sure why other folks are saying it's noisy unless they got a bad fan (that is the only moving part) ... show more

I purchased this in May 2024. It worked great until the end of September 2024. I opened the door and the entire door fell apart in my hands. The hinges broke as well as the handle. I reached out to the seller to see if it was possible to buy a new door. I figured it was worth a shot before ordering a new refrigerator. They replied to my email and asked for additional information. I have sent the requested information, but it's now been a few days with no response. I would be okay with whatever response they gave me, but I'm not okay with them just ghosting me. **UPDATE** The company contacted me 5 day later and have assisted me to my satisfaction. **Update 2** I received a replacement refrigerator. It is worse than the first one. The door is a poor design. The top pin falls out each time I open the door. Now I've lost the pin (UGH). I'm hoping to get a replacement pin. At the end of the day do yourself a favor and buy something else. ... show more
