This lumbar support is "OK". It is sort of too soft and for most recliners I know the strap for wrapping around the chair to stay in place is a little short. It would never go around my recliner, but is OK, you just have to lift it up back in position when you get up and come back to the chair. Also, the fabric the pillow is encased in slips around quite a bit, but that too can be adjusted. It is basically a "v" shaped piece of foam rubber with the top of the v at the bottom. I put this on my leather Copenhagen recliner style chair, and even though the elastic went around, it was really good. The width of the bottom was so great that you lost about 4 inches of your seating space so your knees when bent were hanging over the edge of the chair. Too wide.
